The wait time wasn't bad for a walk in, and Dr. Alidina seemed very attentive and caring. I actually ended up getting bloodwork right after my appointment because they fit me in. Not a regular go-to for a yelper looking for a restaurant, coffee shop, or cool shopping experience. That said, I've been here twice, and both times, it was pretty straightforward. Receptionist was always clear about what I needed to do prior to my appointment (ex: fast 8 hours, no water after midnight). They know their stuff. Sonographer was very patient, and even pleasant to work with. Which is good since I was there for about 1.5 hours. Place was clean, not overly sterile. Location was conveniently close to Christie subway station. Yes, I would recommend this reliably good business to a friend or family member.

Schroeder Ambulatory Centre is a non--profit community health centre. The MRI section is rented by St. Michael's Hospital until Feb 2026, to accommodate their newly arrived MRI machine. After Feb, they will transport it downtown Toronto, to St. Michael's Hospital. They are open 07:00 to 23:00! My mom was lucky because the next appointment downtown Toronto would have been Jun 2026 but because this machine newly arrived, there were relatively few bookings so she got an appointment within 1 week, but late at night in the next city, Richmond Hill! Good thing we came early. We were not told that at night, only the P4 entrance is open with no receptionist! The "MyChart" instructions, if you read it, said you can enter from P1 or P4. We tried P1 and it was locked! We finally arrived at the MRI reception area at 21:30, after driving around finding the proper entrance. There was no one around to ask for instructions late at night. A technologist just brought in another patient in at 21:30, who was scheduled for 21:30; they were also lost. They fetched us at 21:32. My mom changed into a hospital gown and was brought in at 21:54, after the previous patient finished. The two technicians not not that friendly. I suspect that they are tired working a might shift. My mom finally finished at 22:20! Very late for any senior. I have to deduct 1 star for poor instructions. The centre was was new, clean, and brightly lit. The centre has free WiFi. The atmosphere is very relaxing. The ladies who run it are fabulous. They talk you through everything. They provide you with cold water and chocolates if your little one needs some encouragement to move around. They do not watch the clock to the minute! This part is nice because my little one had his hands and legs hiding his face for about 20 minutes and our session was supposed to be about 30 minutes. We were there for much longer. In fact, if your baby just doesn't want to show themselves at all and you're really running out of time (in my sister's situation), they will just get you to come back. No extra fees. Also, I strongly recommend getting the package that includes the dvd, not just the pictures. They record the whole session and it is great to re-watch the whole thing at home. I will definitely be back here for any consecutive babies! :D

For the most part it seems like we were in contact with Michelle. The response via email was quick and efficient. We managed to book an appointment although we were well close to the tail end of the closing window for the best pictures. The studio did have to cancel our appointment. We did have to return to the studio a 2nd time. Unfortunately we did not get any photos of our baby. Some of the other reviews mentioned the studio gave a drink or chocolates to help boost the movement of the baby, but we were not offered that. Although each appointment is booked for a full hour, I never stayed the full hour. I am not really sure how they divide the time. I did find the ladies working there to be quite nice and mostly accommodating. I would recommend giving them a try id it's not out of the way. The studio is clean and modern and easy to find. The parking is a pain and the availability of times they have can sometimes be unaccommodating since you have to book fairly in advance and there are very limited evening appointments.

It is also very empty so I would expect prompt service. The company policies get 0/5. You have to prepay for everything, scan and interpretation report(s). When you book the scan, the paperwork warns that it will take about 8 weeks for the report. When you pay they verbally tell you 12 weeks for the report, but you can pay extra to get it quicker (extortion, since you are already booked and are physically there). They mention "pay an additional amount" several times during your visit, although no one told me how much the "extra amount" was or what "quicker" actually meant. Since I am living on disability income I chose to wait, I figured I had time. After 15 weeks of no report I called and was told it will now take "at least" 20 weeks to get the report but they will look into my case. Today someone called back and said my case has another 5 weeks in the queue (this makes is at least 21 weeks). I expect in 5 weeks they will extend that time again. So basically, all the people willing to pay "extra" are knocking me down the waitlist queue. If I knew the "real" wait time I would have considered paying extra (like everyone else does, I assume) to get the reports earlier or gone somewhere else. My insurance is ending at the end of the month and I will not have my report back and no way to pay to fix whatever problem they find. WHAT A COMPLETE AND TOTAL WASTE OF MONEY. I understand there are not enough qualified people to read the images, but it should be first come, first served, period. If you want to provide a "pay extra" service then at least allow the regular reports to go through at a reasonable rate of time, do not just keep extending the wait time. Also, you should not charge me for the reports that you may never generate, the charge should occur when my report is ready. You have had my money for 4 months now, I am in a lot of pain and have no answers, this is ridiculous. Do not use this service unless you are ready to pay extra. Ask your dentist to refer you to a different provider, the only thing this company cares about is $$$.
