I expressed my dissatisfaction immediately, but the dentist advised me to wait a few days to get used to them. When I returned to state that I was still unhappy, both the dentist and his assistant dismissed my concerns, claiming it was "all in my head." The issues are physical, not cosmetic: Functional Problems: The restorations are so oversized that I can no longer close my lips or mouth naturally. Tissue Damage: The altered fit has caused recurring friction and blisters on my lips . Dismissive Behavior: When I continued to ask for adjustments, the dentist removed his gloves and stated he would not help file them down if I kept complaining. When I called back regarding the ongoing blisters, I was told nothing further could be done because removing them risked breaking the underlying teeth and requiring implants. I paid substantial out-of-pocket costs on top of my insurance coverage for this procedure. When I became visibly distressed, she openly mocked me to another girl at the office, stating, "Watch what I'm gonna say to her and make her crawl right out of her skin." Instead of intervening or showing basic human decency, the doctor ganged up on me, backed his clerk, and berated me. This office uses intentional emotional cruelty, workplace bullying, and predatory financial exploitation against vulnerable patients. They are unsafe, unprofessional, and abusive. She didn't explain things; yes a lot has changed over the years; I honestly sat confused how this appointment could have gone so wrong after being reassured when I made the appointment; a mistake had to have been made. I finally spoke up a couple of times asking questions especially when I was being taken to another room for an X-ray after having X-rays in the first room. I was clueless at what was going on and she wasn't explaining. When I got up from my chair I was sweating so bad you could see the outline of my body in the chair. I kept thinking when was it going to be over. Then another thing done I had never had done and didn't know what it was; I finally stopped her and asked her what this was. As she smiled, she would I'm sure be good for someone who goes to the dentist every 6 mo and knows the routine and doesn't need anything explained but in my situation, not a perfect fit. At that point I was thinking with the hygienist, I was never stepping foot in there again. But then I met Dr Hana; absolutely calming and compassionate. It was obvious he knew my situation. When I left, I left now torn about going back. I thought if I could just get a different hygienist I would be okay. Time lapsed past my 6 month appointment, I received emails, text messages and post cards to make an appointment. One day when I received a text message, I texted back about my experience. Stated I didn't know if I wanted to come back because of the hygienist but was thinking about coming back because the dentist was excellent. Attached is the response I received; then ghosted. I repeated that I didn't want to speak ill of the hygienist but not a good fit for anyone in my situation. I know for a fact as the employees are good, every employee excels in different areas. I was hoping since my initial office staff encounter was excellent and encounter with the doctor was excellent, a different hygienist would be a good resolution. I thought a mistake had been made. Instead it is stated they would reflect on what could have been done better? Not an attempt for a resolution? Not an offer of a different hygienist? Not I'm sorry, maybe she was unaware of my situation? Not, maybe there was a mixup with appointments and I received the wrong hygienist? I finally gave honest feedback hoping there would be an easy solution; a different hygienist. This puts more shame towards people that don't feel comfortable at a dentist. SO disappointed.....
