They'll *appear* to be rolling out the red carpet for you, they'll be upbeat, and eager to help you find what you're looking for... but what they're really looking for is a SALE! They're crafty with their words and strong salespeople. You might even feel like they value you as a customer, but they value REVENUE above all else. The experience we had here was by FAR worse than any other shop we visited--it was like night and day. We have signed paperwork stating they would not keep our deposit if the item we were looking for didn't work with our space. Well, we came back to inform them that we needed to switch from a SwimSpa to a hot tub. We could have just cancelled the order entirely, but after being duped, we decided to look for a hot tub instead. They were unable to offer what seemed to be a very reasonable ask (based on the massive margins in hot tubs). Unfortunately, we couldn't come to an agreement. I called, with a kind, patient, and professional tone, and said..."It doesn't look like we are going to be able to make a deal." Heidi didn't say anything for about 30 seconds. Then asked, "So what are you saying?" I said, "We just need to cancel the order." She got SO ugly as soon as I said that. They definitely showed their true colors. They were kind and friendly until they didn't like what they heard. I was yelled at, criticized, and eventually hung up on (one employee was in the background prompting questions/comments to say like this was a battle to just win). Rather than listening to understand, they listened to respond. Rather than having a consistent demeanor and commitment to customer satisfaction, they were inconsistent and inconsiderate. As I was on the phone with them, I started taking notes of what was said (see photos attached to this review). I can almost promise you this: You WILL find a MUCH better experience A-Z at any other pool/spa business in the immediate and surrounding areas. Also, take a look at what seems to be a very unethical warranty service fee they charge you with a manufacturer's warranty that actually covers warranty/labor. They charge you extra money for what they're actually getting reimbursed from the manufacturer. S H A D Y! Update (in response to the laughable reply by the business): It's funny how Heidi called ME after she started seeing bad (but honest) reviews. Once again, I had to endure another lecture and very different tone than the one she used when trying to close a sale. She started with, "I hope you feel good about what you're doing." I told Heidi that I was just telling the truth because I believe consumers should know who they are entering into business with. I won't spend many words on providing a rebuttal to her lies and cheap attempts to save face (clearly she cares more about reputation and revenue than she does about people and professionalism). Anyway, buyers beware. Check this businesses reviews across platforms, check the Better Business Reviews, and proceed with caution. From one consumer to another, I recommend you at least engage with adjacent spa shops before signing anything at Crystal Pools & Spas. You'll notice an immediate difference.

Everyone jumped through hoops to make a short-notice project 100% successful and stress-free. The cost was completely reasonable, especially given the abbreviated timeframe, and I wouldn't change a single thing about my experience with them. I would (and will) use them again, I will recommend them to everyone I know, and I hope everyone reading this will use them. So, my situation was this: I own a house in Kaysville that I rent out. It was vacant, and it was time to install carpet. Problem is, I live in Colorado and didn't have all the measurements, and would only be able to be in Kaysville for about 5 days. I called Johnson's on Friday, 10 June, and told them I would be in town 16-19 June. I let them know I had a video walkthrough of the house that might be able to give them a rough idea of the layout. I sent it to them. On Friday, and then again on Monday, they confirmed that they would absolutely be able to do this for me (I was more than a little worried only because another company had been saying for weeks they would be able to do it, and then on the 10th said they couldn't). On Tuesday I called to let them know I would actually be in town Wednesday the 15th, and they said I could come in and we could get started. Wednesday morning I went into the store for the first time, and the crew came out to measure. Long story short, by Wednesday night I had brand new, beautiful, professionally installed carpet throughout my entire house at a very, very reasonable price. The work crew was flexible and determined to get everything done that day and the office staff was incredibly friendly and helpful and flexible to find a carpet that would work and get it all completely resolved in a day. To review the timeline: Friday afternoon - first contact with Johnson via phone with huge request. Wednesday morning - first visit to office and initial house measurement. Wednesday night - Ta-da, everything is completely done to perfection, and Johnson's has a loyal customer for life.

He patched and painted drywall, replaced entire sheets of drywall, replaced a tub/shower combo, installed a new vanity, laid some tile, installed flooring, etc. I cannot stress enough his close attention to detail! Even with that, his prices were great and he was very speedy! We even hired him on a different project to remove our stone fireplace and replace it with drywall, and that had just as great of results. Overall, Travis does great work and has a very positive attitude, which goes a long way in this business! We will hire him for any project needs from here on out.

I ordered enough for 2" to cover my backyard, but I barely have enough to cover 1 layer of 3/8" rock. So just doing the math I feel like I'm short by at least half. I've also ordered rock from Sandees before, and I got exactly what I measured & ordered. So I think I know how to measure cubic yards. Next time I will order from sandees again I called and asked what happened, but they said they couldn't do anything about it. No 'we'll sell you more at a discount' or 'I'll come by and measure to confirm we shorted you' And another thing: the rock they delivered was so dirty -- I'm talking every single rock covered in dirt so the pile is brown -- that I guarantee it threw off their measurement system. I asked if they compensate for how dirty their decorative rock are and they said no. I've been taking a pressure washer to the rocks I have for the last 3 days and I still have a lot to go. The water turns the dirt to mud and the rocks are so thin that it's just really not ideal. Finally, when the rocks were delivered on my curb, the rocks spilled over into my other decorative rock of a different color. So I had to manually pick out the dirty brown rocks from the nice white rocks I got some sandees. This isn't a big deal, but was annoying enough for me to mention
