The Urgent Care on Edgerton was open until 8:00 PM, and we rushed over. The facility was clean and professional. My wait was negligible. A nurse took my vitals and politely asked me to wait for a physician. Dr. Chaudhry spoke to me with understanding and expertise. His bed side manner was reassuring. The EKG was normal and multiple blood pressure readings were taken. Fortunately, my Systolic pressure dropped from 190/101 to 160/82. Dr. Chaudhry continued to monitor my progress and finally sent me home. I felt 100% better. This is the only Urgent Care to use if you live south of Shorewood.

The staff working here seems okay, though I don't like how they assume an informal first name…read morerelationship. Please, let this old man have a modicum of dignity, even if, or especially if, I'm coming in here for something uncomfortable. The biggest problem is Aurora's pecuniary greed. You'll be treated fine if you've got the right insurance, but they want to make very sure you do have insurance. Then after your visit, If your insurance doesn't cough up their share with adequate alacrity, or if you wait a couple of weeks to pay your share, you'll be sold to a collection agency faster than falcon diving on prey.

I dont care at this point if i have to go through the hassle of changing dermatologist before my final month of accutane, im transferring. absolutely ridiculous. Providers are nice...did not have issues with medical care. But i cant tolerate this behavior anymore. its just not worth it.

Dr. Sacotte was seen for a routine annual skin check at Affiliated Dermatologists. I have seen a…read morenumber of providers there in the past, and have always had a great experience at Affiliated Dermatologists. I was happy to hear that there was a new Oak Creek location that opened, which was much closer to home. He was friendly, but his exam of my skin was very brief and not thorough. I rely on the dermatologists to look in areas of my body that I cannot see well. My back, my hair, etc... He hardly checked my back, did not check my hair and anything that was covered, he did not uncover (even my socks). This exam was the quickest skin exam that I have ever had. I brought up 2 places on my legs that "I" was a bit concerned about and he agreed to remove these and send for biopsy. The RN that works with him is very sweet and kind and did very well with the intradermal lidocaine to numb the areas, however, I really think that Dr. Sacotte should have taken the time to do his own intradermal injections. Him leaving the room, the RN coming to numb the areas and then him coming back was odd and it was a first. 1 of the spots came back as melanoma and 1 was severely dysplastic. I do not believe Dr. Sacotte would have found these on his own. When he called me on the phone, he also told me he may need to have another physician perform the surgery to remove the melanoma and dysplastic lesion and that these 2 procedures would need to be done on 2 separate days as "no one" has enough time to book these procedures together. (Mind you, these lesions were both 6 inches apart on the same leg!) I was not impressed and frankly, not confident in the care I received and opted to not return there to have the surgery to remove the tissue surrounding the lesions. To top it off, while Affiliated Dermatologists IS covered "in network" with my insurance, the pathologist that they sent my tissue to was "out of network" and I needed to pay the entire pathology bill! In the end, I went to a different dermatology clinic (a physician that previously worked at Affiliated Dermatologists, that now opened a new clinic in Franklin). After contacting him and reviewing my pathology results, he got me in within 2 weeks and completed both areas at the same appointment (and he, not his RN, numbed both areas up by the way). Both areas now have clean margins (their pathologist WAS "in network") and I was very happy and confident with the care that I received. I called Affiliated Dermatologists to discuss my care and the bill that I received and I never received a call back from either area. Very disappointing.

I took my teenager to Affiliated Dermatologists after having him see a ProHealth doctor. I…read moreexplained that we were coming to them because the previous doctor (Dr. Lee at Prohealth) did not listen to my son, and spent very little time understanding our concerns. That doc made his diagnosis and recommendations with very little patient contact or examination. While Lauren Wille and her assistant Tricia spent more time with us, they did not believe us about barriers to treatment and either were ignorant about the medication use or purposely misled us, thinking that these barriers were not going to be a concern. We spent $100 for a medication we could not use, in addition to our copay, our lab fees etc. for a treatment that my son could not use. When I raised the concerns about our investment and the inability to pursue this treatment, the office manager said she's consult the PA. The response that came back to me was "I don't what you expect us to do for you. If you are unable to do this treatment, and a different one didn't work, I don't know what else we can do." So we are out what, to us, is significant money and my son's problem has gone on unresolved. We are pretty disappointed with the dermatology professionals particularly at Affiliated Dermatologists but as a whole, our experiences in this field have been disheartening.

I've had numerous appointments with Dr. James Russell at the Waukesha office and have found him to…read morebe kind, gentle, and very knowledgeable. Sometimes he doesn't run exactly on schedule, but I understand that doctors run into patients who require some extra care. He has always been willing to answer all my questions and reassure me about various skin conditions. The staff is efficient and friendly as well. My biggest complaint is with the phone system used to schedule appointments and such. It's inefficient, full of static, and very impersonal. Get rid of it!
