Due to their later hours, I didn't have to take any time off from work. Communication was great. I received a text reminder the day prior, and a link to pre-fill "paperwork" online so that I wouldn't have to do it the day of. That's always a bonus because it can take a bit of time to fill out. I don't like feeling in a rush doing it at the office. The office itself is very easy to find and access from both Rawson and Howell. It looks like a little strip mall on the northwest corner, and there is a large parking lot behind the building. It was clean and well lit inside, with a smallish waiting area that seats maybe 10. It wasn't busy so there was no issues having a seat to wait. The care I received was wonderful, and I truly appreciated the fast turnaround of service. The Dr was very straightforward and professional. I was given clear aftercare instructions and she was able to answer my questions in a way that I could clearly understand. I'd definitely recommend Forefront to anyone who needs a skin condition assessed and treated.

I am disgusted by the way they treat new clients. i am dealing with something very serious for the first time in my life and they don't show an ounce of empathy or concern.

I had a pre-cancerous mole removed by Dr Madeline Schaeffer on a Monday. At 4pm on Tuesday I left a…read moremessage with questions about wound care. I fully expected a call back some time on Wednesday, but did not hear from the nurse until Friday. By then, my questions were moot. I decided to have my stitches removed by an Aurora practitioner instead of returning to Forefront. She cultured my wound & found it infected with Pseudomonas Aeruginosa which is a bacteria highly resistant to antibiotics. Because of the contagious nature of this bacteria, Dr Schaeffer was alerted of my diagnosis. Dr Schaeffer then called me and denied her clinic was the source of the bacteria. She never followed up with me after that call. I'm left to question the initial biopsy results as well. The lab report did not even include cell counts. I highly discourage anyone from seeking care from this location / doctor!

What is everyone else doing that takes so long!? At any rate, I really appreciated that I could use their text service to make an appointment; I spend a lot of my time in meetings and calls so finding uninterrupted time to make these kinds of requests can be tricky sometimes. Making matters worse was that I was traveling while trying to get an appointment for a spot on my face, making this service wonderful for me. Within seconds I was told that I had a cyst and we not only talked through options for removal, it was done then and there! I had to go back in a week to take out the sutures and that appointment actually took longer than the removal. I also got a call in-between appointments advising the status of the cyst, too, which I appreciated. Really the only issue I had was the intense bruising that occurred on my face that I wasn't warned about--it was so bad I was telling people that I may or may not be in a secret fight club! The nurse at the suture removal appointment seemed surprised by the bruising but didn't speak to it and it wasn't on the post-care sheet I received, either.

I…read moreexplained that we were coming to them because the previous doctor (Dr. Lee at Prohealth) did not listen to my son, and spent very little time understanding our concerns. That doc made his diagnosis and recommendations with very little patient contact or examination. While Lauren Wille and her assistant Tricia spent more time with us, they did not believe us about barriers to treatment and either were ignorant about the medication use or purposely misled us, thinking that these barriers were not going to be a concern. We spent $100 for a medication we could not use, in addition to our copay, our lab fees etc. for a treatment that my son could not use. When I raised the concerns about our investment and the inability to pursue this treatment, the office manager said she's consult the PA. The response that came back to me was "I don't what you expect us to do for you. If you are unable to do this treatment, and a different one didn't work, I don't know what else we can do." So we are out what, to us, is significant money and my son's problem has gone on unresolved. We are pretty disappointed with the dermatology professionals particularly at Affiliated Dermatologists but as a whole, our experiences in this field have been disheartening.
