José Rivera, Toyota salesman and me with my new, barely used 2024 CR-V Sport Hybrid.
Claudia L.

I just bought an incredible find from Fordham Toyota! I was looking for a Honda CR-V Hybrid and this dealership came up as having a 2024 in stock. I reached out through cars.com and got a confirmation and follow up call from Jenny. She was very professional and we scheduled an appointment today. Jose Rivera greeted us in the showroom and he was incredibly knowledgeable and professional. We test drove the car and it was awesome. Long story short, I drove off with my new car! I can't say enough about Jose, Anthony in financing, and all the rest of the staff. Muchas gracias!

This is a TOUGH market for buyers, especially those looking for a hybrid as dealer adjustments start at $3,000 and go up to $10,000 over MSRP. I originally went to Fordham Toyota for the 2023 Prius, but walked away. David was very respectful even though I wanted to explore other options. I ended up test driving a 2023 RAV4 Hybrid at another dealership and decided that was the car I wanted. 2023 RAV4 Hybrids are mostly accounted for (meaning before they arrive customers have already put a deposit down). I was lucky to find Fordham Toyota had a RAV4 Hybrid XLE Premium in the color and with the packages I wanted, and I reached back out to David. We quickly negotiated price with a dealer adjustment of $2K over MSRP (good as it gets in this market, unfortunately), I put my deposit down, and got the car a few weeks later when it arrived! Interest rates are very high right now, so recommend bringing in your own financing options to get a better rate. Overall, David and Kelvin (in financing) were super professional, easygoing, and meaningfully moved on their initial deal adjustment and interest rate offerings. There was no unnecessary haggling back and forth. When I declined options like extended warranties and gap insurance, they respected my decision. TL;DR - Do your research; come in knowing what your OTD price is going to be; be ready to walk away; and come to Fordham Toyota and ask for David and Kelvin.

We love our new Highlander thank you Jose Torres for the easy process ! I went in there and immediately fell in love with this car. Million thank you.

Fordham Toyota literary scammed me and frauded me by selling me a Car Toyota RAV4 2020 with a lot of Damage at $31,190. An accidented car with a lot of d3stroy pieces hidden inside the Bumper. Very disappointing honestly and anytime I call them and report them the problem, they always hang up the phone on me and always so rude and not reliable. They put all the blame on a third party company to a guy name Frank representing CARFAX inside Fordham toyota and that guy always talk to me very bad and always hang up a phone on me or refused my messages anytime I calm them for this issues. They thought my mechanic won't reliazed that inside the bumper were all turned apart.

I had a great experience buying my new RAV4 Hybrid at Fordham Toyota. Marcos was amazing to work with - super knowledgeable, responsive, friendly, and helpful. Jaidy was also really really nice and helpful. I went to four dealerships (all over Westchester) before I landed here and I knew right away I didn't need to look any further. They are honest and laid back without any pressure to rush to a decision. Highly recommend Fordham Toyota!!!!

Call Jhosue Honoret! You will not be disappointed!

Bronx Honda vs Honda of the Bronx Wtf does that mean or…read moreshould it mean to the people of the Bronx. I know what it means to me. Not a damn thing because it's still the Honda dealership in the Bronx. People who live in the Bronx are committed to this borough. They believe if you live in the Bronx you should buy in the Bronx. They believe that people should earn a livelihood in the Bronx so they support businesses by spending their hard earned money in stores in the Bronx. They want a prosperous community. Which helps to explain why I bought a car in the Bronx. I bought a Honda one year ago and everything went smoothly. The salesman was cool. He wasn't that stereotypical used car salesman so me and my baby daddy left the dealership feeling good. We felt good because we contributed to the economy of the Bronx and we felt that way until recently. My son's father went to Honda to set up a time to get the second oil change promised when we purchased our car. Two oil changes guaranteed in a sign agreement with Bronx Honda when the car was purchased. Well when my children's father went for the second oil change "Honda of the Bronx" tried to renege on the agreement because Bronx Honda doesn't exist anymore. We bought the car when it was Bronx Honda. The Honda dealership in the Bronx is at the same location E. Tremont Avenue is now Honda of the Bronx. As a Harlemite but with roots in the Bronx I'm like really? I'm looking at the manager and I'm wondering if he thinks I'm a fool and that I will accept the change of name of the Honda dealership in the Bronx as a reason to not honor the contract made in good faith. The oil change is not the only contract they tried to renege on. We bought a service contract for $2500 and the manager said no to that too. A lot could be said about this less than savory experience we had but I'll say this we got the oil change but the service contract I'm waiting to speak to a representative at Honda headquarters. In summary I will not buy another car from Honda and as far as the name change: Bronx Honda vs Honda in the Bronx, means panties changed but the pussy still stinks.

I absolutely stuck up for myself when your associate decided to tell me " Your a teacher so you should know how this works ". And " did u even ask for ac" YES , YES I DID ! So as a manager I would think that you would know that ,that is extremely rude and discriminatory and disrespectful against me because I had questions like why isn't there no ac in the back of the car and why all the cars have tickets that say no warranty So maybe you should train your staff on professionalism and how to talk to customers And again because I am a women he thought it was okay to say whatever he wanted to me .... And my father was standing there when YOUR associate said those things to me and I told him I will be leaving a review so YOU should make sure YOU have YOUR facts before responding especially when your response is lies ! . And asking your associate to come in on his day off has to do with you not me I don't make the schedule so don't add things in your reply that has nothing to do with me . The entire time I was with your associate, nothing I was saying or asking was being taken seriously and I was bypass on everything I was asking I do not believe if I was a man I would of been talked to that way again whole thing recorded so don't respond with lies ! Extremely Disappointing Experience at Bronx Hyundai -- Lost a Cash Buyer! My experience at Bronx Hyundai was absolutely unacceptable. I came in ready to make a purchase and prepared to pay CASH, but instead of receiving professional customer service, I was made to feel disrespected, dismissed, and uncomfortable. The vehicle I originally wanted was too small, so I asked to see other options. Rather than showing me vehicles that met my needs, I was shown cars that did not have the features I specifically requested, including air conditioning and heat for the rear passengers. When I asked about these features, the salesman responded by asking me, "Aren't you a teacher? You know how this works," and questioned whether I had even asked for air conditioning. YES, I DID! The first vehicle I was shown had the features I wanted, so why was I suddenly being treated as if I didn't know what I was asking for? I told him not to insult my intelligence, but the disrespectful attitude continued. Then I noticed that the vehicles being shown to me had stickers stating "BUY AS IS -- NO DEALER WARRANTY." When I asked what that meant, I was told not to worry about it. Excuse me? I'm the one spending my money, and I'm absolutely entitled to understand what I'm purchasing, what protection I have, and what risks I'm taking. Telling a customer not to worry about something like that instead of explaining it clearly is unacceptable. I left feeling that I was not treated fairly, and I couldn't help but wonder whether I was being taken less seriously because I am a woman. I came prepared to make a major purchase with cash, and I expected honesty, respect, transparency, and basic professionalism. Instead, I felt talked down to and made to feel as though my questions were a problem. Let me be clear: being a woman does not mean I am uninformed, and being ready to pay cash does not mean I should accept whatever a salesperson puts in front of me. I know what I want, I know what questions to ask, and I have every right to understand the terms of a sale before handing over my money. Bronx Hyundai had an opportunity to earn a significant sale and a satisfied customer. Instead, because of the way I was treated, they lost a serious cash buyer. I will gladly take my business somewhere that values its customers, answers questions honestly, and treats women with the same respect afforded to everyone else. My money spends just as well as anyone else's, and Bronx Hyundai will not be receiving it. Do better.
