This place is amazing. They were able to get me in for a same day estimate. They found a way to work on my car and make it good as new at the lowest cost possible. They could of found a way to make it a expensive job and they didn't. While my car was being serviced they got me a Uber to and from work. When I returned my enterior was completely detailed and my car was so clean. Great customer service! Thank you! read more

Changing from 5 stars to 1 star. Took the car all the way to Classic Collision because of previous excellent service when the shop was under Ford Auto Body. This shop is not the same anymore. Eric lied about the condition of the parts replaced in several occasions. When I showed the final bill questioning the condition of the parts he said "everything is new". He showed me invoices thinking that it would stop me from verifying from the vendor the condition of the parts and the vendor verified they were used. When confronted, Eric changed the narrative several times first going on to say they price match, and then at last said it was indeed in used condition. The shop looks like a nice one from for anyone who hasn't dealt with them. They are bunch of liars and do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. read more

Very rude staff. Not friendly or welcoming. Was told they had my vehicle information over the phone. I go in, it's completely wrong. Then they hassle me about taking my car because they can't their own facts straight. Definitely taking my business elsewhere read more

Ford Auto Body (Pride) is absolutely the worst of businesses. My late model Ford truck has been sitting at Galpin Ford for two weeks now and I have personally left messages @ Pride/Ford Auto Body for over a month now, with no return calls. If you choose option 2 when calling, (waiting for help), they will never answer. If you pick #1, status, they answer and apologize and forward messages to Carlos, but he refuses to respond. It is the worst of businesses for customer support! I left the truck at Galpin for warranty work, which they completed immediately. However, Carlos never picked it up, nor answered any calls what so ever. Terrible customer service! read more

Very nice customer service. The staff changed my headlight and replaced my low beam bulb. They did not charge me for the service and I brought the wrong light and gave me a spare light. Super super nice. I will be back for other repairs. Outstanding service and beyond nice. read more

My window wasn't rolling up and I went two different dealership and they wanted to charge me $500 and I decided to come here and a nice agent Monica helped , looked at the car and they found out it was just a loose bolt and she saved me hundreds! ! I was extremely satisfied with this repair shop. I spoke with Monica when I started the repair process. She was AMAZING! She helped me with all the paperwork and talked me through the whole process. She was VERY professional and ready to answer any questions I had. (Yes, I had plenty.) I felt completely comfortable leaving my car in her (and the company's) hands. Maria kept me informed as to what was being done with my car. These ladies are the reason I felt so comfortable leaving my car there for repair. When I picked up my car, it looked perfect! There was no evidence of a previous crash. (Not my fault.. lol) I would absolutely use this repair shop again! read more

Don't let the Galpin Ford affiliation fool you. All parts must be ordered directly thru Galpin Ford. Only problem is, if they don't have the item in stock, and it's back ordered, you will have to wait for possibly months, in order for the parts to arrive. Even if other local dealers have the part in stock. Next time, it's back to a mom and pop body shop, who locates and obtains the parts as soon as needed. read more

Terrible service , left my convertible in the rain returned the car with a dead battery and the carpets were soaked. Parts missing. Terrible. Avoid at all cost. Way way overpriced. read more

Oh wow. Just read your trash response. First off it wasn't a 2001 so you're off to a bad start and you're also lying. Second my insurance had literally nothing to do with this and didn't send anyone out because it was the fault of the other driver. So you claiming that you were waiting for my insurance isn't true. I was in contact with their insurance and they told me you took a week to report to them. It costs them money each day the truck sits there so I strongly doubt they would let it sit there for an entire week and rack up fees. Another lie is you claiming MY insurance adjuster made the decision to total it, my insurance wasn't handling this. I had another shop give me a quote which was almost half the cost of yours. You claimed there was frame damage when there wasn't. So the fact you're saying MY insurance had to send someone out is a lie and inaccurate. So just more proof you are dishonest and are trying to cover yourself with lies instead of being a decent business. If you had a file on my truck you would know it wasn't a 2001, my insurance wasn't involved, and you lied about frame damage. You guys are trash and you're a liar. read more

Fantastic AutoBody!!! Got my car done in the amount of time that was said it would be done. The results exceeded my expectations! When getting back my car it was cleaner than when I dropped it off thank you to everyone at this location, will definitely be going back if any other work is needed to be done. A huge thank you to Alex for helping me along through every step and making sure I was kept in the loop for the entire process! I felt stressed in the beginning but felt better as Alex took care of everything and making sure I liked the results of my car. read more

Horrible experience. AAA highly recommended and I am extremely disappointed. They were completely unorganized. I made the appointment to drop off my car with the person that I was dealing with for the day he scheduled and he had a scheduled day off. Then the shop had no clue about what we talked about. Wasn't sure what side of the car to get fixed. Reschedule appt. for a week later to make sure that he would be there and again the shop doesn't know where he is and asked me to just leave the car and HOPEFULLY he'll be in later in the week. I get a weak apology after juggling my schedule twice. DO NOT TRUST THEM WITH YOUR VEHICLE! read more

Ford auto body STAY AWAY FROM THEM. Don't go there. They fixed the outer parts of my SUV & damaged my alarm & electrics. The day that they release my SUV to us, they made us wait & wait & wait, while my car was already outside ready for me to pickup. They wouldn't release the key to me. They said they can't release my car to me. Not much of conversation was going on with us as to why. Three or four of them were either talking to each other, or on the phone, or on their computer screens, while they had us wait in the middle of the day while they're getting paid. Meanwhile WE were not paid because instead of an easy drive there to pick up my ready car and get back to our work, they ended up making us wait for over an hour. We were there just WAITING & my SUV was ready outside. Then they said the only way they would release my SUV to me is to pay IN FULL the balance due. I released my credit card to them. They charged me. I signed the charging slip. They made me sign a release form too. Minutes later, their managers and staff reviewed it all and finally released the key to my SUV to me. AFTER I paid them in full. I got my car. Done deal, right? No. The car didn't perform till minutes later. Some days later, I get harassing call by the body shop that I owe them money and that they will report me to agencies!!! What? They had us wait & wait and kept my $30,000 car at ransom in exchange of full payment of FULL PAYMENT of about $500 that they made me pay in order for me to get my car!! Hello?! And now they are threatening me with my credit?! Yap. They are threatening to ruin my credit. Wow. Wow. STAY AWAY FROM THEM. STAY AWAY BIG TIME. read more

Ford Auto Body Inc - Threatening letter. They released my SUV based on final pay. They held my SUV key at ransom until I made FULL PAYMENT. - Body Shops Near Me - Van Nuys, California

I ran into a couple things after my work, nothing major, a busted plastic clip, manhandled rubber molding, and (the one thing nobody could've seen coming until the car threw the message up on the message center) a corroded alarm siren module. I stopped in to talk to Carlos about it and he is already ordering my parts to get it all fixed up to my complete satisfaction. It's something he should do and I'm glad he was so nice and easy about it! I should have my parts in and installed within a week! Still, great guy, great shop! The wonderful customer service never stops coming. read more

Best body shop around very helpful Carlos great estimator and good at explaining the process

I bought a brand new mustang from Galpin Auto across the street. One day I parked my car in front of my house for 3 hours and came out to see that someone had hit my car. The car I bought is a 3 stage paint job and I knew it would be hard to replicate the color. Knowing this I took it Ford Auto Body! The whole staff is very knowledgeable and kind, keeping me informed of the progress of the job the whole way through. I would especially like to thank the manager Mike and and the head painter Ruben for such an incredible job. I really feel like they took care of my car as if it were their own! I highly recommend this Auto Body Shop not just for Fords but for anyone who needs to get work done and especially if you are very picky about who works on your car! read more

I have worked with Ford Auto Body three (3) times over the last 7 years. They worked well with my insurance company and did all the paperwork so I did not have to deal with the insurance company after the first phone call. Each time I found their staff to be polite, professional and responsive to my needs. The job was completed ontime or ahead of schedule. After completing the body work, my car looked as good as new. I always drove away very happy and satisfied. Thank you Ford Auto Body for doing a great job! Melissa Motkin read more

Took my car here on a recommendation. This shop has been in business for a long time and it shows in their service and quality of work. By far the worst body shop in the business, completely regret bringing my truck in and giving them the business. They've been holding onto my truck for more than 3 months now with no release date. I was mislead by Chris, he told me to bring in my truck, that they had the doors and most the parts in January. AND now 3 months later end of April, I'm told, they're still waiting on a door. Not only was I LIED too I understand it is a big job but it's no excuse to having me bring in my truck taking it apart and letting it sit outside for 3 months with no doors. There parts manager has made no effort in being proactive about trying to get ahold of these parts. Every time I call about a release date they have no answers because they're making no effort in finding out unless you're calling them everyday to try and get him to try and find out. When I was finally given a date this month, they said the 15th of April. I called again on the 21st of April, and now it turns out they LIED to me again and they really didn't have a release date. We are now looking into taking Legal Action against Ford Auto Body. We've been lied to and mislead. They keep trying to say it's a big job but it's no excuse to there lies just so that they can secure the business and bill my insurance for more than $20k. read more

This is by far the best shop i have ever found in the San Fernando Valley, in the past i would find shady mechanics with made up diagnostics and this made me really change my mind about any shop, i had to take my car to the dealership several times, only to end up paying huge amounts of money, i truly recommend this Shop, because of the honesty and personal service they offer, most particularly ask for JC Jimenez, kudos for him, best service i have ever had in years -Rodrigo L read more

Finally, an autobody shop whose staff goes above and beyond! I was rear-ended in June while four months pregnant, and chose to bring my damaged Explorer to Ford Auto Body for repairs. The office manager, Monica, went out of her way to explain every step of the repair process to me, call for a rental car, and take care of all the paperwork. She even spent some time chitchatting about family matters, kids, etc. to calm me down and make me feel comfortable. I was contacted every other day or so with updates on the estimated finish date, through text message and phone. On top of everything, just today a driveway gate closed on the passenger side of the same Explorer. I took it immediately to them - they buffed out the scratches, used a little touch-up paint, and I drove away good as new within a half hour. JC and his shop staff are amazing! No gimmicks, no hassles, no shady mechanics looking to charge you for every nut and bolt - plus a friendly, smiling face right when you need one! I will be using Ford Auto Body for any and all future repairs, and will recommend them to all my family and friends - their service is outstanding, bar none! read more

These guys running this place are not professional I sent my 2019 raptor to them for a major accident initially once they had me sign financial responsibility for the year down in case State Farm wouldn't cover it they did the estimate the day they said they sent to my insurance company I ask for a copy from Matthew and was refused a copy told me I had to get from my insurance company from a vehicle that I own so I told them to stop and not do any further work this was very unprofessional I wouldn't recommend these guys to work on any vehicle the customer is not important to them period they could care less read more

I brought my car in for a bumper repair. They did a great job with customer service and making sure I got the right parts, but they took a long time to make a pretty simple repair and I found cash and sunglasses missing from my arm rest compartment when I picked the car up. The worst body repair facility I have ever dealt with. Took my vehicle to them for repairs on a front end collision. 1 week to year down. Absolutely terrible. While I waited to be helped, I was shocked at the lack of customer service. A mechanic was in a shouting match with a customer after clearly coming off as rude. Regarding my vehicle, I have waited close to two weeks for it to merely be checked out. After calling, I was told that they had no information yet regarding the time table for the repair. Very professional. I've had two major repairs in 10 years- one came out perfect- the other had minor paint blemishes that we're fixed by them with a 30 minute polish. Most important- communication was excellent and their employees have been there a long time. Never felt like I was dealing with people that wanted to take advantage. They fix everything from Kias to Aston Martins. My cars were both Jaguars. read more

I broke the bumper retaining clips on my 16 mustang while I was swapping out the grille. After 3 shops told me that I had to get a new bumper cover, I finally ended up here. The most frustrating part about taking my car here is that no one set any sort of expectation of how long my car would take or the process. I'm the kind of person that likes to be in control and know everything. Considering that I wasn't even in my vehicle when my car got hit, my experience was full of frustration. My car was actually parked and hit overnight in a residential area, so there was a large impact at the rear bumper/fender and a scrape down both doors. The estimator at the State Farm Collision place told me on average it should take about 2-3 weeks to do the repairs but my car ended up taking about 6 weeks. Admittedly, I complained directly to Ford Auto Body that I was upset that they did not forewarn me that I would be out of a car for 8 weeks, which was their estimate for me 3 weeks in. The first 3 weeks was waiting for State Farm and the other 4 weeks or so was the body work. After I complained, they apologized and actually got my car to me 9 days earlier. While I'm not the happiest camper in the world now that I am out $2500 ($1500 for 6 weeks of a rental) it still saved me enough that it will just have to do. I explained from the very beginning that I would be paying out of pocket for my rental so I feel that out of consideration for my finances it would've been nice to advise about the possibility of being in a rental for 2 months. Most of this was not the body shops fault at all. I think it's just important to have some context in which I am writing this review. They sent me updates along the way which was most appreciated but I just really wish they would have told me it would take 2 months to do my car or else I would've re-scheduled or considered my other options. Especially since my current insurance does not cover rentals. In terms of the actual body work. My car looks like brand new. Based on the reviews and recommendations, I cannot recommend this place more highly. I'm actually very glad I took my brand new 2015 Ford Focus to this shop because I didn't trust that anyone could make my car look brand new again. In the end, they delivered and did excellent work on my car, I can't even tell that it was damaged or painted. read more
