We went back and forth discussing different paver options, styles, layout ideas, and pricing. After several site visits, we agreed on a final scope and signed agreement. Once the work finally began and the trees/shrubs were already removed, Francisco stopped the project and told me I would now need to pay an additional $1,000 because the patio would require a step. He claimed this made it a "different project." As a homeowner, I relied on the contractor's expertise. I clearly explained what I wanted from the beginning, and Francisco had visited the site multiple times before agreeing to the price. If a step was required, that should have been identified during the estimating and planning process -- not after demolition had already started. When I pushed back, I was told he could simply "put the trees back and refund the money." While I did receive a refund, I was ultimately left with removed landscaping, dead trees sitting in my garden bed, and no patio project completed. The most frustrating part was that everything had already been discussed, measured, signed, and agreed upon beforehand. Overall, the experience felt very unprofessional and poorly planned.

When we decided to move forward, we were told all in the work would be done within 1 week 1) The team that showed up to the do work was from Above and Beyond Cleaning whom we have NEVER heard of or spoke to. When we called Robert he was rude and unprofessional and told us this was the "sister"company, but we should have been made aware of that. 2) It is now 7 weeks since the work started and is still NOT completed. We call the office once a day and get the run around from several office managers. Since its not their house no one has a sense of urgency or even cares. When they do get back to you it more excuses about about when the work will be completed. Bottom line do your research. This is not the company you want to work with if you want anything done in a professional and timely manner. On a side note, the subcontractor working from Above and Beyond, Osain has been amazing! He's been the only one that has called us back to give us updates and to try and get some resolution on the remaining portion of the work. My house went from absolutely horrible with green mold on the side of it too sparkling clean looking like brand new. My fence went from green to white again. When cleaning my gutters John pointed out that we have rotted facia boards and need them replaced. Instead of fixing those old gutters we decided to upgrade to new gutter guards.
