Jorge was honest, reliable, and on time. Great pricing and easy to work with. Didn't try to oversell me.

I had a very disappointing experience with Romero Hardscape Landscape Design Expert…read more Francisco from Romero's came to my property multiple times before the project started. We went back and forth discussing different paver options, styles, layout ideas, and pricing. After several site visits, we agreed on a final scope and signed agreement. Once the work finally began and the trees/shrubs were already removed, Francisco stopped the project and told me I would now need to pay an additional $1,000 because the patio would require a step. He claimed this made it a "different project." As a homeowner, I relied on the contractor's expertise. I clearly explained what I wanted from the beginning, and Francisco had visited the site multiple times before agreeing to the price. If a step was required, that should have been identified during the estimating and planning process -- not after demolition had already started. When I pushed back, I was told he could simply "put the trees back and refund the money." While I did receive a refund, I was ultimately left with removed landscaping, dead trees sitting in my garden bed, and no patio project completed. The most frustrating part was that everything had already been discussed, measured, signed, and agreed upon beforehand. Overall, the experience felt very unprofessional and poorly planned.

BEWARE! A…read morerepresentative of Absolutely Spotless came to my house to do a mold inspection because I had some concerns about the air quality in the house since it been vacant for 6 months before we moved in. He suggested I do a number of tests and told me I would probably need a few thousand dollars of air duct work to address my concerns. He charged me about $3k and told me that it would cover the cost of the tests and most, if not all, of the cost of the air duct cleaning that I wanted done. Then I got an insane email from the owner, Philip Kossoy, basically suggesting that my house was infested and suggesting that I turn my entire house into a toxic, unliveable chemical factory for 1-2 weeks for the low, low price of $15,000! When I told him I just wanted to use the 3k that I paid to have my air ducts cleaned, he refused and said "thats not how this works!" And when I asked for a refund, he laughed at me and said that "it will never happen!" Eventually I had to go to another remediation company that happily did the work for $1,800. Check them out. Jun's Mold Remediation. They were honest, professional and great to work with. Oh, and not surprisingly, I also learned after the fact that the owner (Philip Kossoy) actually spent time in JAIL for theft and fraud. Check it out. https://www.google.com/amp/s/articles.nj.com/monmouth/index.ssf/2014/01/freehold_man_sentenced_to_jail_for_evading_state_business_taxes.amp Obviously I did not do enough research about this company beforehand. Had I done so, I would have seen the MANY similar complaints that have been made by other victims against this company and its ratty owner on Yelp, BBB, Dept. of Consumer Affairs, etc. BEWARE!
