Super cool cafe that also sells vinyl records! The music they were playing was really nice, it wasn't too busy inside, vibes were great overall. The flat white I had was great, milk was micro foamed properly so it was velvety, and the espresso was pulled well - floral and chocolatey and well-extracted, no bitterness or sourness at all. The customer service was very bad. I went to see my sister in New York and decided to check it out. The person taking orders was really rude. No smile or any other friendly gesture. Definitely more of a Cafe, but they do have records for sale throughout the store and tons of space to sit. Coffee prices are very reasonable and my cappuccino was expertly made. Great coffee shop in Greenpoint! They sell a bunch of vinyls, which you can easily browse through at the back of the place. The main thing I like about the place is how they utilize their space to host community events! My first time visiting was actually for a stand up comedy show. My 2nd time here was during their 1 year anniversary event (where they played good music and had some local vendors). The owner is super friendly and down to earth. Drinks: I got an Oat Latte and it was really good. My friend got their Lavender Latte and they really enjoyed it as well. I have also gotten their Kombucha in the past which was also amazing! Came here with my sister who lives around the corner and loves this place. The barista was super friendly and knew her order which made ordering really fast. I got an iced coffee with caramel and cream, and it was pretty good- the syrup was the perfect amount of sweetness and had good flavor and the coffee was pretty strong! The pastries are REALLY good! Finally, a very nice coffee spot! The barista and owner were both super friendly and made an excellent cortado. The owner chatted with me for a while explaining how he only does single origin, no blends. He said I had their dark roast in my coffee, though it had a medium-dark chocolate and caramel profile. Not terribly complex but simply well made, sweet and yummy. The coffee shop feels like a bit of a flashback to simpler times with plywood banquets and a mixture of materials that could be but are clearly not haphazard. Records sit on skateboard shelves overhead. There is a large room with records in the back. It's a great casual feel, refreshing after visiting so many corporate, Scandinavian packaged design shops. Only reason for a 4 is that I have not tried the food or been back to try other coffees/drinks. read more

They have a limited pastry selection from a local bakery and includes your usual assortment of croissants, chocolate chip cookies, and muffins. There are a few gluten free and vegan options. The space is really bright, large, and beautifully decorated with plenty of space to sit and work or meet up with a friend. Sick of the usual coffeehouse beats? The store gets its name by playing records on rotation, with the record player hooked up to a sound system. The store also sells a wide array of records and succulents in the back. It's a great place to stop for coffee and they even roast their own beans. Their pastries are also amazing - ever since the owner asked us if we wanted a blueberry muffin, we've gotten one every chance we got to buy one (since they're sold out often). Cute cafe / record store with great customer service from Lucas. I got one of the special drinks "Purple Haze" plus a ham and cheese croissant which were both yummy. The vinyl records were fairly priced with a nice selection, though some of the bins aren't organized by genre/artist so you'll have to do some digging. Me and my bf ended up walking out with four vinyls (Bleachers, Bette Midler, The Platters, Bob Dylan). There was also a pop up brunch they were hosting with @cecilybk (IG) and I got a damn good butter beans toast. Def worth a visit! read more

A delightful coffee shop that brings freshness of coffee, pastries and people together with an add on of vinyl records. Its pet friendly and prices arent too steep to say the least. The owner, or the person who I think is the owner was super friendly and inviting. Waiting to place my order, i was able to watch his interaction with different customers and I was impressed. He was attentive and interested in each person that entered. The location is spacious. The coffee was pretty good and they offer tea that I think is made here in Brooklyn. Pastries here are very good and try their belgian waffle if you can. iDefinitely a great spot if you want to escape for a few minutes or a great meet up spot for a 1st or 2nd date or with just friends. Lucas, the owner, was generous and accommodating in every way possible. The coffee shop + record store space is unique (something that was important to us) and the vibe could best be described as "fun/chill." As an big vinyl and coffee enthusiast, this place has been on my radar for a while. I finally got to step in on a Sunday and met the owner who was pleased to tell me they just finished up a year in that space. He went on to tell me he had his extended family (grandma included) to join in on their 1 year anniversary celebration. So sweet. He was super personable with everyone that walked in which, from my experience, is not the norm for most coffee or record shops. I had a cup of coffee that they roasted themselves and got a couple records too. They have a pretty good selection of jazz, hip hop, and classic rock.
