Okay .............. as far as hanging pictures and such. They actually do a great job. But the…read moreproblem is ... or at least mine .... while they were hanging in the side room a few items and the TV . My other half left the room for a few minutes. In the room stood a jewelry Armoire or chest. Unfortunately for me the very first drawer contained a pair of antique white gold and diamond cuff links. Some what valuable . But more than that ... one of them was previously a brooch given to my great great grandmother in the 1870's. About 30 years ago I had a duplicate made for me to wear them as a pair of cuff links. The next morning while getting dressed I realized they were gone. It's not the physical value that bothers me. It's the emotional value. My great grandmother wore that brooch every day of her life and I remember it fondly. I tore the place apart. Looked for a couple to three months. All the while I knew the day they disappeared. I called Hanging Around Texas to see about assistance in getting them back. The secretary stated the owner was out. She would return my call. A week later I called again ... to find that the owner was then on a trip or cruise. From there I waited another week. Left a message and then got a call back from the sect. I requested the owner call me ........... she finally did a couple of hours later. Claiming they had never been accused of such ... their employees would never do such and that I needed to talk to my other half ! ???? Also made comments about any of our guest or friends. Since we don't entertain at this residence, no chance of a guest or acquaintance taking them. Nor the maid. We had just moved in. Hadn't hired one yet ... still haven't. Not sure how talking to my other half was going to find my cuff links any way. I guess avoid and claim no responsibility. Well I told them the money wasn't the issue but I would appreciate the help in getting them back. I requested that they again talk to the pair of men who came to hang of pictures. They have had two months ... so far, they have not tried to get in touch with me to resolve this matter. Honestly , it just seemed they were resolved in not trying to rectify the matter . At all. Good .............. but beware of leaving the room !

Oh my goodness, why have we not stopped in here before? We're life-long residents of Fort Worth and…read morehave never stopped in until this evening. From now on, anytime we're visiting Sundance Square we'll definitely be stopping in. This will be a wonderful place to walk around after dining at the square. This is not your typical gallery. Tal, the owner, has a very eclectic collection of artwork, sculptures, and bronzes. When we there a Dr. Seuss exhibition was on display. It was very whimsical and comical. What an incredible treasure to have in downtown Fort Worth.

This isn't the kind of gallery that has huge cold floors, giant stark walls with a few hanging…read morepieces, and people quietly shuffling about whispering to one another. Milan Gallery celebrates artwork in a much more casual and colorful way, and that's something I really love! Owned and operated by Fort Worth locals (who have contributed several beautiful pieces on display), Milan is a smorgasbord of local, national, and international works of every medium you can think of. Paintings, sculptures, glass work, jewelry, prints, photographs... Id say it's mostly paintings, but in every style imaginable. Abstract works, photo-realistic, impressionist, classical, and more. My favorites are probably the works by Thomas Arvid (I just love wine! I also heard there is an 11 year waiting list for an original creation), Gregory Beck (his sculptures are absolutely gorgeous and so graceful. I love the human figure and his works are extremely elegant), and Ford Smith (he paints the most vibrant and whimsical landscapes). The Dr. Suess works are amazing, of course! M Milan Gallery has shows all the time, so just keep an eye on their website or facebook for upcoming exhibition information. The best part of Milan is that on most Friday and Saturday nights, there's an incredible pianist playing and Tal (the owner) is pouring wine! The staff here is so knowledgeable about the artists and make you feel like family. Tal and Kelly have been especially helpful and welcoming, which makes all the difference in a gallery experience. This is a definite Sundance Square treasure, and I plan to spend many an hour exploring Milan Gallery.

During my search one of the first things I stumbled across was Elm Street Studio. I loved the reviews and pictures on yelp so my co-host reached to get all the info on everything. The process was pretty easy and it was priced reasonably. Even more importantly the venue was adorable and the perfect size. We were planning to host a group of 25 ladies. The venue has a nice front room, a center area which is good for a couple of tables, a back room with fire place that is pretty big and a nice size kitchen. We used all the indoor space for our event. There is also a lovely backyard and patio area that can be used for different things as well. Everyone was super nice and accommodating to us. We got so many compliments on what a cool venue this place was for a baby shower. I would absolutely recommend this spot if you are looking to host an event. I think it would be really cool to have a small wedding and reception here.

It is cozy and trendy and makes for a great place to host any event. Jessi, the event manager, and Shelly, owner, were extremely helpful and went above and beyond to cater to our needs. Jessi helped us set up the décor on the day of the event. There are three rooms that you can use and were able to MORE than comfortably accommodate our party of 25. They have a beautiful backyard that can be used too. I would definitely recommend this venue to my family and friends. Thank you Jessi and Shelly, we are so pleased. You made our event SO memorable. Wish you success and growth!
