Today, January 8, 2023, I patronized this buisness which is something that I have been doing for…read morethe past 5 years. Within these years, I have had a great experience, but that ended today. When my services were rendered, I put some change in the tip jar. The gentleman, however, who did my massage DEMANDED that I give a $5 tip. I told him that I already put money in the jar, but he wanted more. We kept going back and forth about the $5 tip. This lasted about 3 minutes. He said that there is a $5 tip minimum. I told him that this wasn't true because there's no sign that indicates this. I told him that I was going to call security if he doesn't charge my card and give it back to me and that if he asks me again for $5, I will not come back. They have tried to pressure me into tipping more before, but I wasn't held hostage with my debit card to TIP $5 or more before either. Finally, he grudgingly charged my card and told me not to come back, and THAT'S for sure. Tips are optional and not demanded. I will never patronize this business again, and anyone who want patronize there, he or she must be ready to be DEMANDED to give a $5 or more tip. This was at the Wolfchase location.

I had never been to this location, but decided to stop for a quick 20 minute chair massage. Kevin,…read morethe employee helping me, suggested I try the table massage instead. I said okay and then requested to make it a 30 minute session. After 6-7 minutes on the table, Kevin suggested I include reflexology so I would have 4 hands working on me. I politely declined. He then kept trying to convince me...multiple times. I finally had to say, I SAID NO, rather sternly to get him to stop. Funny thing, the other guy already started the foot massage at the beginning of my session. Kevin said something to him and he stopped. Throughout my 30 minute massage, the same discussion was repeated when Kevin tried to convince me to get hot stones and then a 45 minute session. Instead of being relaxed, I felt annoyed and pressured. I gave them 2 stars because the massage was great!!! Unfortunately, everything else was unpleasant.

Two years ago while in NYC, I started having a way too familiar back spasm episode, and just so happened to be walking past an Asian massage place mid flare up and walked in with hopes to find some relief....we'll, I felt like I basically just so happened to find the ultimate cure. Omg- Asian massage, like its counterpart far eastern medicinal techniques seem to have literal Healing power! I I was desperate and hopeful to find a place like it in Memphis upon return. I found "a great massage" on poplar and started going. When I say it's literally the BEST massage I have ever had in my entire life (and I've had too many to count over the years due to my numerous issues ); I am NOT exaggerating. I do not get massages bc I am a princess. I get them for healing and the harder and more pain they cause during the massage, the better I feel the next. The therapist are strong as oxen and I usually find myself silently praying and thanking the Lord that he created the therapist and this type of massage technique. You aren't entering some sort of super fancy, relaxing place; but it is adequate, and the massage service that you receive for the money makes the mediocre ambiance and decor not seem to matter very mu
