For a shoe store in the Foothills, this place actually really impressed me! They had a larger selection than what I expected of both shoes and clothes alike. My husband and I stopped in to see if they carried the New Balance tennis shoes he likes, and although they didn't have the specific one he was looking for they did still have quite a few! Plenty of other brands too. I noticed a lot of flip flops and sandals, so if you're in the market for a nice pair of those, check this store out. My husband and I both felt that the shoes we looked at were a bit on the pricey side, but we also would rather support a small local business than drive into town and search through a busy department store with questionable customer service if this local place already has what we want. We didn't spend a lot of time here (we have a toddler that tries to run all over the place) but we had two different employees check on us while we were shopping around and they were very attentive. I plan on going back when the weather is warmer for a new pair of leather sandals! I'm glad this place is so conveniently located. I also have to add that I reached out to the store's manager (or employee that monitors their social media at least) via their Facebook page once to ask if they carried a certain shoe and got a response almost immediately. Don't buy here. No one helped size my shoe. Paid $160. Followed instructions for refund on receipt but they wouldn't accept shoes back. Worn 2x returned less than 2 days from purchase. Owner basically called me a liar when I told her no one helped fit me. read more

I'll start by stating the obvious, If you live in the Yuma Foothills and your looking for quality shoes and knowledgable staff this store couldn't be more convenient. Unless you're fine with Walmart shoes itll be a 40 minute drive, round trip, to hunt around in town. Check here first. Fast service and great suggestions for comfortable walking shoes. I needed something with a lot of support for long hours on my feet...and they needed to be somewhat dressy. The clerk carefully measured both the length of my foot as well as my boxy ball and toe area. We settled on a wide New Balance walker with handsome cow hide uppers and black soles. I'm wearing them on my porch right now as I finish off this review. Turns out they ordered just the right pair after fitting me with a similar model in another style . My wife was looking for sandals. After looking through the whole store, the only thing she found was a pair of sandals that were on sale. The salesperson said they were Bogo so we picked another pair and bought them. They hurt my wife's feet so the next day we took them back to return or exchange. They then told us FOR THE FIRST TIME that they were clearance and no refunds or exchanges on clearance items. I would not be upset if they told me ahead of time that they were clearance items and no refunds. So I tried to talk with Manager or owner who was not there at the time. I called multiple times during the next 3 days left messages and my phone number for the manager to call me. There was no return phone call and finally I was able to catch the manager in the store to talk with her. At first she would not work with me but after a while the only thing she would offer was an exchange. As we were unable to find anything suitable we ended up keeping the sandals because they would not agree to a refund. So the complaints I have are their lack of clarity on their return policy and poor response in not returning phone calls. read more

I purchased a pair of Keen work boots and five weeks later the soul started to come off. I have spoken with the owner 3 different times and she as yet to Rectify the issue. She said she's waiting for the manufacturer to give her money back. Since when does a store make you wait for them to be reimbursed before you get taken care of. These boots should not have started to fail after only five weeks. At this point I'm beyond frustrated and will never ever purchase from them again. My wife has used this company for a couple of years buying her work shoes and other better grade shoe products. She convinced me that I should give them a try for my sandals . I normally get a pair at one of the big box stores for around $25 that last about 3 months. She extolled the virtue of getting a " Good pair" and getting years of use. I went in and we picked out a pair that costs about $110 with tax, they were great, for about 6 months. Then the area where my foot touched the sandal, the thin leather pad wore through . We were out of the area and as soon as we got back to Yuma we took them back to the store. The owner/manager of the store looked at them and said" you got lots of use from these." He then pointed to the insole and said see how these have been" Well worn" and that the manufacture wouldn't do anything about it . I turned them over and said they still look like new, and he went back to the pad area that had worn through and said again " these have been well worn." I mentioned the fact that my wife has Burks that are 10 years old and hers are still wearable, he shrugged his shoulders. I asked him to look at the account and asked if he was sure that this is what he wanted to do, he responded yes. The lack of customer service was appalling , we left and will never be back, and rather than giving a positive reference, we will do our best to steer customers to another shoe store. read more

I was really hoping to like this store as it does have some cool inventory. However, their customer service and return/exchange policy leaves a lot to desired. My daughter in law received a pair of sandal type shoes as a gift. They were too small and since she was leaving town, asked me if I could stop by and exchange for the larger size. They still had the string connecting them together along with the tags. Obviously still in the same condition as when purchased. I was told that without the receipt they would not do an exchange. I explained that they were a gift and there was no receipt. Still wouldn't budge. It's not like I was trying to return something worn or wanted money back. All I wanted was the right size shoe. Honestly, if a store is trying to make a go of it and build their clientele, you would think they would do what they could to have happy customers. Because of their lack of interest in helping me, I will not be shopping here. And once I relayed my experience to my daughter in law, she was not pleased either. The store really lost a great opportunity to bring more people into their store. Had this been a pleasant experience, we would have recommend them to others. Now the story of poor customer service will be repeated among our friends, my daughter in laws friends and even the friend who made the initial purchase. read more
