The people working here have zero business in this profession. I was in the process of getting tested for ADHD. One of their nurses said to me "you don't even have ADHD." I asked if hat he meant. He said because I wasn't diagnosed by a doctor as a child that I didn't have it. I was later tested for ADHD and found to have always had it. Another nurse (Dr Macquarie's nurse) told me I should think about "surrending your life." Aka she told me to kill myself. This same nurse told me that I'm a "pill junkie" when I mentioned that my first ever dose of ADHD medication didn't work for me (other doctors have confirmed the amount I was initially given is usually given to young children. It was less than 5mg. The average adult takes 40mg). Like truly, dealing with their nurses has done more psychological damage than the actual disorder. I get physically sick when I have to talk to my current doctor about medication because of Dr Macquarie's nurse. Dr. Macquarie's nurse was so rude and so uninformed about mental health. She didn't even seem to think ADHD is a real disorder. She said so many things that infer she thinks it's made up. It makes you really not trust the doctors when their nurses don't believe in them. If you are looking for anything - don't go here. It's so bad that if you get in a car accident in front of their office you'd be better off bleeding out in the street. read more

If I could I'd give negative stars. In July Dr Gordon was ill. I had a major depression episode and he could not help. Understandable since he was sick. But he had no back up. His staff had no idea what I could do. I went to urgent care after a visit from the police. They were called after I called my insurance company for help. I was desperate. read more

I utilized Foothills Psychological Services from 2020 thru 2022. I had a psychiatrist only at first. I tried one therapist but when she discounted and dismissed what my previous therapists had told me I asked to have a different therapist. The second therapist ended up being of no help either. I warned her I have a tendency to be verbose and talk too much which keeps me from getting down to the nitty gritty of real therapy. We agreed that yes in the beginning of course I needed to fill her in on my history. Thing is? She never stopped me from my story telling. We never even got near doing any sort of therapy. I have had excellent therapists in the past so I know a good one when I see it. I have been in therapy off and on for decades. I consider it a class in myself and essential to personal growth. My psychiatrist was olympic level is just how short he could make our phone calls and how quickly he could get off the phone after our med check. He got it down to under 3 minutes. I told him my Physiatrist (pronounced fizz-eye-uh-trist) had put me on duloxetine for my chronic pain from fibromyalgia. My psychiatrist then said, "Okay well then he can continue your care, it's been good working with you, I wish you the best. Good bye." I've never been kicked to the curb so fast by a psychiatrist ever!! It was often difficult to get through on the phone there. Also, they sent me a bill once asking me to pay it. I called and explained my insurance and that I should have no out of pocket costs. They argued with me for a bit but finally dropped it after I had IEHP step in to help me. My daughters first year of college she met with nurse at the health center who told her she should get tested for autism after speaking to her for all of five minutes. Unfortunately, the therapist I was seeing was not able to support me in the ways I needed. She was a good listener, but did not have the tools to help me work through the issues I brought to her. I communicated this a number of times, but still no help to help me move forward. We never followed through with any sheets/homework she gave me. I am not sure if the office supported her in the ways she needed, but as a client, I was not supported in the way I needed and I left my time at Foothill Psychological Services disappointed. In addition, the accounting department is not the best. Make sure your insurance covers your visits, because it wasn't until after I completed my time in the office that I was receiving bills for a few visits I was told my insurance covered. I have been trying to dispute the manner, but the accounting department does not return calls and has poor communication. read more

I have been coming here for almost a year & I love it. Everyone is incredibly kind and William Glasser has been the best at finding the perfect fit for my medication. He even let's me text for emergencies and I came and switched scripts. Everyone does a great job with appointments & I can normally get in within a week or two. The only complaint that doesn't apply to the service is how squeaky the door is at the chino office. Would I look crazy if I bring my own can of wd40 & fix it. ? read more

Prefer to give zero stars based on Deep Patel who is a nurse practitioner and his office personnel. On several occasions we encountered hostility from his office crew named "Nichole" as well as a lackadaisical attitude from nurse Patel. Patel and his office crew are responsible for treating with meds and failure to follow up upon receiving several requests from our pharmacy and us personally. This form of treatment should be outlawed; as the failure to follow up on a patient especially after initiating psychological medical treatment can lead to extreme mental distress. The foothill office and nurse Patel continue to ignore the pharmacy and the patient already placed on medicine to the extent they laugh when explained of the complaint. Do NOT GO HERE. They never answers phones. Left numerous voicemails and they wont call back for a bill that should be credited. My wife saw them once and had a follow up but she was really sick and hospitalized (about to die). We called them and left a voicemail about her situation. They charged a $60 fee for cancellation and when our insurance didn't pay that ridiculous bill they are threatening to send it to collection, but they wont answer their phones to talk to us. Mind you they call themselves mental health experts but they play with your mental health. Furthermore, their staff at the office have the nastiest attitude. Do not let this office ruin your time find someone else. I wish i could give them zero stars. read more

I normally do not negative reviews because I feel most people will share negative experiences, and few share positive experiences, so I usually only share 5-star comments. However, this place deserves this review. I have been through a fair share of therapists, psychologists, psychiatrist, etc. Yet, I have never experienced a provider like Dr. Reed. First of all, on the first appointment she told me my "diagnosis" did not really exist, but it does and no other psychologists has ever denied my mental health. Second, this lady is rude, she does not make you feel welcomed, heard or as if there is any progress being made. I would not recommend Dr. Reed to anyone, even if it was free. Also, her assistant called me once, a day before my appt to confirm, and I had cancelled my appt, 4 months later I received a bill in the mail for $60 for a late cancellation. Now that was a shock to me of course because I clearly remembered a person calling to confirm the appt for the next day and me cancelling, but their argument was that the call was under the 24 hr mark. If that is the case, WHY WOULD YOU CALL?? Apparently a late cancel or no show is both $60. I called and explained and Dr. Reed left messages saying exactly what the bill read, not even trying to understand or help me. I will say the front/back (supportive) staff is all so sweet and great. read more

Very unethical billing procedures, they reschedule appointments when their drs are unavailable without notifying the patient. Then they charge you a 60.00 no show for not showing up! This happened two times to us. tried to talk to them about their mistake and they were rude and told me they couldn't see my son anymore unless I paid the 120.00!! Horrible office staff. The final straw was this week I got another call saying I owed another 60.00 for another spot that was not canceled. We saw the Dr on Jan 22 but apparently they said we had an appt on Jan 6th too and now they are charging us for that. Called billing office and even office manager thought it was crazy and finally agreed it did not make sense! drs won't help with any of it they let you deal with the young and rude girls in the office! read more

My family and I had been coming here on and off for the past 9 years and I finally said "I'm done." After seeing multiple providers I would visit doctor Gordon about once a month just for an evaluation and prescription. Not once, but twice was I given the wrong dosage. Dr. Gordon is a really nice man and I do believe he cares for his patients but he does not fill the prescriptions himself. His staff does, his staff with obviously little medical/pharmaceutical knowledge. And rather than review it himself, he simply signs it off. The prescription medication I get for ADHD is a control medication which means I have to physically drive down and pick it up as it can not be sent electronically. I don't mind doing this but I have a baby so to make multiple trips because of an error on their end is frustrating. Not to mention the dosage he prescribed me was so ridiculously high that the pharmacy refuses to fill it. Now I don't know much about the dosage of this medication because it's new and I hadn't researched normal limits but I did after this experience occurred twice, in two consecutive months, and it was so much more than the normal limit I would either be dead or a drug dealer to have that much on me. Seriously it's not even close to a safe amount. Someone is going to prescribe something incorrectly, and the patient is going to get hurt because he is allowing his untrained staff to write prescriptions. And none of this even touches on the staff themselves. Holy. Heck. In 9 years I've met maybe 3 kind staff members. Hey ladies, just a heads up, did you know that even though your little window is closed, we can still see through it? While I stand behind the line waiting to be called I can SEE you sitting on your phone. Constantly on their phones and I noticed other reviews mentioning that and clearly the establishment doesn't care. It's insanely rude. And whoever the nurse is for dr Gordon needs to be babysat. My physician sent a note to have my records sent over to her office after I said I was through going to see Dr Gordon and after nearly a month with no response I had to call and leave a voicemail to remind the nurse to send over my documents. I'm sorry but why did I need to babysit you to do your job? Dr Gordon you were a lovely person to talk to but I can't stand your office. The unprofessionalism, rudeness and lack of double checking prescriptions was too much. Having to drive between two cities with an infant multiple times because a ridiculous error was made is just too much. And one of your nurses had the audacity to say "well it's your prescription, you should have checked" are you joking? I don't know the abbreviations. I don't know what it means. I am TRUSTING my doctor to write the correct dosage the same way I trust my doctors to not overdose me on antibiotics. Anyway, I thought I would be sad to leave and that it would be difficult to find a new office but honestly, it's worth it. I'm just relieved I never have to step foot in there again. read more

Such an amazing place to come and get services. The front staff is always cheerful and has positive attitude with me. I know i can always depend on Foothills to help me get through the rough times. I feel like the front office staff is accommodating and helpful. I receive calls for upcoming appointments and staff lets me know if I have an outstanding balance due. J (my son's drs assistant) always makes us laugh and my therapists assistant, G, returns calls promptly as is always kind. I couldn't imagine doing the jobs this front office staff does. This population is not always predictable but they are always cool as cucumbers. R is the coolest. read more

I see Dr. Glasser for my meds and Dr.Chew for therapy. I can't explain how much Dr. Glasser has changed my life. I'm Bipolar and I also have Fibromyalgia. Dr. Glasser was the first doctor to help me. He is very supportive and places me on meds to my discretion. Nothing forced. He has changed my life in so many ways. I've been seeing him for over a year now and he is so pro active in my mental health and well-being. Believe me I know he is the best I've seen as far as doctors go. I've been to more than a dozen Doctors and have been on meds for over 20 years. He was the first Doctor to actually listen to my symptoms and is highly motivated to help me. I went in for anger management. I don't like to be touched. After telling my story, the therapist literally convinces me that she wants to hug me even though I keep saying no. she talks alot about the size of my breasts. One session she tries to grab them during a "hug." When I finally told my partner, she went ballistic. Then the pandemic hit, my partner picked up my letter for court, I cancelled all my appointments after that. They tried to bill me for $30. I reported her to the place but got no response. I began an investigation with the state. They stopped asking me for the $30. I didn't owe them $30 anyway. No lawyer would take my case. So, sexually abused by my female therapist who shall remain nameless. But she bragged about being able to legally take opioids and work. More PTSD for me. she knows who she is. I would stay away from here if I were you. read more

Office staff is very helpful and professional. Getting an initial appointment takes some time, but well worth it! Now I book appointments for about 6-8 weeks at a time. So convenient. read more

I called to make an appointment. The soonest was 5 weeks away, ok no problem. But then the woman taking my appointment said they had just had a cancellation and I could bee seen in a week. I was very pleased. I show up for my appointment, on time, and they have no record of me. The receptionist told me to wait a minute as she checked into it. 5 minutes later they tell me they double booked me. She then says, "wait, maybe they won't show up, they often don't." They did. I am beyond disappointed. Zero respect for my time. If you have to go here like I do then call them at least a bakers dozen of times before your appointment to confirm. read more

I went for one appointment and left my prescription sunglasses in the therapists office. I called and she said she had them and would leave them with the front desk. I went back a few weeks later (right before Christmas) and my therapist was on vacation through the New Year per the front desk. They said no sun glasses in the lost and found and the receptionist said she "remembered" the therapist saying she was going to keep them in her office and they don't have a key. I went back today (her second day back) and she said they have been at the front desk the whole time. So not only are they LIARS but apparently someone on their staff is a THIEF as well. I have been to other offices and I would say that Foothill PS has a great therapist. The waiting room is large so I don't feel crowded or my space invaded by other patients. I never wait long. I have found Stacey to be personal, ask questions, and to be caring. She has evening appointments to accommodate different work schedules. I have found the office staff to be trained to be neutral and calm in order to assist a variety of different people. It might take a bit to get an appointment, however once I made one I was able to schedule several appointments ahead and even get on a cancellation list. I would recommend Stacey Sanderson, however not the other doctors! read more

When I first called to make this appointment I explained to receptionist how urgent this appointment was. She gave me an appointment for 5 days later. It was for physiological evaluation and counseling (ptsd-depression) they canceled that appointment 2 weeks later I'm still waiting for an appointment. I won't be graphic but why can't we get the help we need when we need it... I called to speak with office manager to reschedule, she was not in but I am expecting a call from her, hopefully soon. read more

Stay clear of this company. If you go even once you are guaranteed to get a collection notice 4 months later claiming you missed an appt. They report to the credit agencys and kill your credit rating. Not good therapists either. read more
