Came today for some football scrimmages on this beautiful Saturday. While the park is pretty good…read moresize and includes a tennis court, play ground, dog park and a large grass field of course the parking lot is lacking in size and people were parking wherever they wanted apparently today. We had to drive backwards out of the lot to get out because multiple cars took it upon themselves to park around the curbs and our vehicle is too big too get through the tiny lot with them there. The playground was a bit outdated, but still being enjoyed by many there are bathrooms and covered picnic tables which is great if planning a family day. The bathroom's definitely needed attention and didn't even have toilet paper. The dog park area was clean and also had extra bags to pick up your dogs business if you didn't bring any. Nice walking area around the park as well.

Great community park. Sweetwater has covered picnic structures, volleyball court, basketball…read morecourts, tennis courts, a field and a play structure. Picnic structures each have 2 tables and a bbq. Structures are spread out. This is great for parties. Several parties may be going on at once, and they won't interfere with eachother. Volleyball court is on grass. Several basketball hoops. There is a handicap accessible ramp down to the basketball courts. Tennis courts are towards the back of the park. There are quite a few courts. Playground is newer. There are lots of places to climb, spin around, and even a percussion play area. Parts of the playground are shaded. Playground has many accessible areas. On top of all that, there is also a field. Field is large enough for a game of soccer. Parking is located in a lot or along the street on W. Sweetwater.

You must prove your dogs are licensed/vaccinations are up to date and register with the anthem community center to gain access to this park. It's $50 for up to 2 dogs for the year. That being said, the park is beautiful! There is 4 gated in areas, 2 large and 2 small. They keep the parks well maintained so they only have 2 open at a time. Instead of small and large dog sides, they have a active side and a passive/calm side. Which I think it's great cause sometimes the little guys want to run around with the big dogs. There is a few covered benches to sit at, doggy bags/trash, and refillable water fountains for the dogs so you really don't need to bring much. It's a very secure park so they have cameras and it's key fob access only. My pups love running around with their fur friends here

I found Rose Mofford via a quick search for dog parks near me. We arrived around 7am and there were a good number of people there. Everyone was nice, and seemed to be regulars. We went to the small dog side even though my pug thinks he's a big viscous dog lol. The area was big and has grass and trees. There is also a doggy watering station. I understand all the comments about big dogs in small areas. My dog doesn't care. I was going to take him in the big dog area but I didn't want people to get mad. I guess maybe there should be better rules posted. Also they should make an area to mix small and big dogs if people have one of each or simply don't care. Anyway, I was happy to find a nice spot to bring my dog. Also looks like outside the dog area there may be paths to walk dogs who are on leash so I might check that out too soon!

This is a great park to get access to the canal trail which is what I use it for. No issues with people tampering with your vehicle due to the volume of people who frequent the park. You can fish, use the gym, bring your offspring to the play area or get on the canal trail and bike, walk or run.
