I would love the say good things about this dog park because we use to love it here. However it's…read morenot the same as it was last year. My dog was attacked by 3 dogs this morning that were 3x her size while all of the owners did nothing but watch. They were more concerned about what they had for breakfast rather than helping me get their dogs off of Nala. Both the lady and the other man's dog grabbed my dog by her sweater and then her collar and drug her across the field. My poor dog was pinned to the ground and both of the owners had the audacity to scream and cuss at me when I grabbed their dogs off of mine and then pushed one of the dogs away when I picked my dog up. And not once did anyone even say sorry. In fact the lady that owned 2 of the dogs told me I need to go on the other side of the dog park. Maybe you shouldn't bring your ill mannered dogs to a public place. This use to be a really good dog park with respectful and responsible owners. But it's not anymore. For the sake of your dogs safety please find another dog park.

While the park is pretty good…read moresize and includes a tennis court, play ground, dog park and a large grass field of course the parking lot is lacking in size and people were parking wherever they wanted apparently today. We had to drive backwards out of the lot to get out because multiple cars took it upon themselves to park around the curbs and our vehicle is too big too get through the tiny lot with them there. The playground was a bit outdated, but still being enjoyed by many there are bathrooms and covered picnic tables which is great if planning a family day. The bathroom's definitely needed attention and didn't even have toilet paper. The dog park area was clean and also had extra bags to pick up your dogs business if you didn't bring any. Nice walking area around the park as well.

I found Rose Mofford via a quick search for dog parks near me. We arrived around 7am and there were a good number of people there. Everyone was nice, and seemed to be regulars. We went to the small dog side even though my pug thinks he's a big viscous dog lol. The area was big and has grass and trees. There is also a doggy watering station. I understand all the comments about big dogs in small areas. My dog doesn't care. I was going to take him in the big dog area but I didn't want people to get mad. I guess maybe there should be better rules posted. Also they should make an area to mix small and big dogs if people have one of each or simply don't care. Anyway, I was happy to find a nice spot to bring my dog. Also looks like outside the dog area there may be paths to walk dogs who are on leash so I might check that out too soon!

Beautiful dog park. It's very clean. It's getting worked on now. I'm hoping it's open again.read more

Pros: Decent size…read more Two parks, one for smaller dogs and the other for larger dogs Mostly friendly people Multiple trash cans Most days there's multiple dogs so yours can play with others Cons: Not very grassy People don't pick up after their pet Children yelling/screaming which was affecting the dogs People bringing their pets in on leashes instead of taking them off before entering People bringing their small (no taller than ankles) into the bigger dog area. There has been a few minor dog fights at this park. Some owners don't watch their dogs behavior, some even leave the park completely and sit in their cars. I liked this park bc most days it's a good group of owners & dogs and how close it was to where I lived. Just be more mindful when going to this park.
