What doesn't this park have?! Paloma park has tennis, pickleball, baseball, soccer, football, fishing, running, enormous playgrounds with state of the art play equipment, and even concessions that boast ice cream! Come one come all it's play time!!! My family absolutely loves this park; it's immaculate and a dream. The fields seem endless and to my little toddlers they must be the biggest grassy areas they have ever seen; they run, they roll, they frolic, and play the day away. Kids and adults are everywhere playing all sorts of games and enjoying the Arizona weather (most of the year anyway). The courts and sports fields are perfectly maintained and a treat to play on. The playground is giant and my kids eyes light up when they see it. There are areas to play for every age and level of athleticism, and the aesthetics of it all are quite appealing. All throughout the park are Ramada's for groups to get together and have parties, bbqs, homeschool time, or whatever other shindigs that sound like a good time. There is room for everyone at this park. The facilities are clean and numerous which is always nice especially when you have little kids; they even have family bathrooms (yay)!!! The views from Paloma are spectacular with the surrounding mountains and valleys; gather at the right time and the sunrise/sunset would be amazing here. This park is a wonderful addition to our community and a place we will come to play often for years to come. read more

Paloma Community Park is a fairly new development within the past few years and is planning to expand with more amenities. During its phase 1, I have rented a pergola to host family gatherings which was nice because it has amble bench seating with tables for dining. They also have sinks with running water and BBQ grills. There is plenty of playground activities for young children and even a splash pad for the hotter days. They have a big lake with fishing and a paved walkway around the lake to get your steps in with a beautiful view. There are huge fields for all kinds of activities, a dog park and pickleball courts. I have played pickleball here plenty of times and love how clean the courts are kept. The only gripe I have with this park is that they close at 10:30pm and will lock the entrance/exit gate at that time. If you are loading up and packing out to leave the park after 10:30pm then you (your vehicle) will be locked in. It happened to me once when I was playing pickleball late at night with my brother and we got caught up talking in the parking lot after 10:30pm. By the time we drove out to the exit around d 10:45pm, the gates were locked and we had to call the non-emergency Peoria police line to get a hold of the park ranger who ultimately came to unlock the gates for us (over 1 hour later). So lesson learned - be out of the park by 10:30pm because they will not sweep the parking lot to kick everyone out before they lock up the gate. Other than that, this is a great park for all sorts of fun activities. read more

A new park. Clean and neat. Lot's of space. Plenty of parking with ball fields and open spaces for kids and families of all ages. We went to walk on some trails and there were plenty of options. Can stay down low or take on some elevation. We did one of the Eastwing Mountain Trails for an easy flat to rolling hike. Saw lots of folks including families out having a fun time. We'll definitely be back for a longer hike. read more

I've been to Paloma Park many times over the last few years and it's still as beautiful as it was the first time. Hands down the best park in Peoria in my opinion. Today I came strictly to walk the trail nearby. Weather was amazing this morning and so worth it. If you walk the entire loop it's about a mile. Definitely not anything intricate, but gets the job done with a great few of the man made lake with people fishing. Today I even got to see some cute little ducks. The park was quite busy with mom groups, kids playing sports and of course the busy little playground. The bathrooms are clean and well kept as well. I discovered this park by accident. When I drove over the rise and saw the park laid out before me, I was hooked. Ramadas for family picnics, pickle ball courts, a fishing pond and my favorite: a doggie park divided for smaller dogs and larger dogs. The dog park is bigger than a football field. There my doggie met Cobee the shih zu and the elegant mini schnauzer girl Ella. I love this park!!! read more

Fantastic 85 acre spacious park. Ramadas, lighted ball complex, fishing lake, multi purpose fields, restrooms, splash pad, pickle ball courts, restrooms and even a 3 cell dog park, volley ball, sports courts, playground and trails. We came here for a birthday party. So much space at the ramadas. Even for the jumper. Just a beautiful park. The website offers a map in case you are attending an event or game and haven't been before. They have 2 parking lots at opposite ends of the park. You can call ahead and reserve the ramadas for a fee. read more

Beautiful park to hangout and have family time. There's plenty of parking and it's accessible. There's a nice man made lake that people were fishing as well as a walking path and a trail that's a mile long that you can do laps on to get your miles in. There are also shelters to picnic I think they call them Ramadas and a beautiful monument that was placed there last year I believe as a tribute to overcoming the pandemic. You can also play pickle ball there and a number of other sports. read more

This beautiful community park in north Peoria is welcome sight. It's been years in the making, and it's finally finished. This park is unique because there is actually a fishing pond here! A license is required to fish but how cool is that to be able to fish in a pond in Peoria?! There was a huge area for dogs to play in with separate areas for big dogs and small dogs. The towering play structure is colorful and definitely exciting for families with children. There were big fields for baseball and softball, and the grassy area is huge and inviting! read more

The only issue was the party next to us rented a bouncy house and the generator was noisy. The park should have made them put it in the grassy field away from other parties. Nice park new park. We visited of a particularly chilly day. I was surprised to see the playground mobbed with children. It almost looked like a school at recess time. It was so busy that we ended up cutting our time at the park short. The structure itself is large. Multiple slides and ways to climb the structure. Parts are wheelchair accessible. A seperate structure is available for smaller children. Many picnic ramadas between the lake and playground. Ramadas are in good condition. They may be rented from the city. Along with the playground and ramadas is a lake for fishing (with a license,) hiking trails, a splash pad for the warm months, sports fields and concession stands. There is even a dog park. The park has seperate areas for big and small dogs. For how nice this park is, I do wish that they would stop pumping money into the continued work/expansion of this park. This park already has so much going for it. There are parks in Peoria that are in need of renovations. It would be nice if they put a pause on any further work until all the parks in Peoria are up to par. read more

This park is worth the drive away from "town" for sure. It's in North North Peoria, luckily a 10 minute drive for us. But I would say it's worth at least a 30 minute drive for a very nice and planned out park. Open fields, playground for smaller kids/toddlers to play and another large playground for bigger kids. The splash pad is great in the summer time. Also it has a fishing pond that gets stocked. Has a snack back with lots of treats as well as food to eat, but worth packing a lunch if you want to hang out for a while. Ramadas can be reserved for blocks of time and great for birthday parties or get togethers. It's a great setting and location with great views of the mountains. read more

This, my friends, is quite the hidden gem-literally. With so many days of sunshine here in Phoenix, we need, want, crave open spaces and areas to go to exercise, chill, maybe fish, brew up some pickle ball sweat, run on grass. . . You get it. Lake Pleasant Parkway is also know as Lake Pleasant Speedway so if you have your foot on the floor, you're going to miss this. Just north of West Wing at the light, take a right and backtrack South half a mile, up a short incline, drift to the left and the most beautiful park sprawls out in front of you. This diamond is relatively new and still shines. All the afore mentioned amenities and more. Plenty of parking, clean, clean, clean restrooms, just a complete oasis in North Peoria. Grab the kids or go solo, maybe pack a picnic, grab a date, or a book and enjoy your tax dollars at work. Phoenix & Peoria Parks Departments do a magnificent job building and maintaining wonderful parks! read more

This is our new get out of the house and get active spot for our family. So many cool attractions I am not sure where to start. The massive open grass area is perfect to place catch with a baseball, football or frisbee. Great spot to let the kids to run off some energy. The grass is soft and perfect. The fishing pond is super nice. We did not fish but others were enjoying it. Being brand new, the pickle ball courts and baseball fields were flawless. Looks like the baseball fields are for leagues etc as they are locked. Adequate and clean bathrooms and a huge play area for the younger visitors. The one mile loop walking trail is nice with good scenery. We saw a birthday party and a BBQ going on in the covered areas. We've only been here twice and it was super busy both times being a Saturday on both stops. We will return as the attractions are great, scenery is amazing and everything is very well kept. read more

Such a unique park that has a lot to offer! Have taken my daughter to the splash pad and park (love the toddler park) You can walk around the lake and hang out in the field. It's a beautiful park. Just hosted my daughters first birthday there and it was great. Rented a Ramada right by the park and the Ramada's were fairly clean. There was confetti left over from party before. Not too big of a deal. However with parties being back to back in the Ramada's - they don't pick up the trash (in the bins) enough. By the time we got there, trash was full and no room for more. This causes quite a bee issue which I know the city is aware of. It would be nice if they picked up trash a few times a day during weekends when there is a ton of parties. Great park. Newer in the past few years and a huge plus for families in the northern part of Peoria. Great places for larger groups in the Ramada areas. Also nice paths to rides bikes or scooters for the kids. Lots of green space to run around, play soccer or football. Ballparks look nice as well but didn't spend any time there yet. They have a concession stand open if you need it. A small splash pad for little kids is available during the summer months which is a great spot. read more

We really like this park for the play structures and splash pad but we have the worst luck the the bugs here. We have been attacked my mosquitos and have to leave. My son was stung by a bee at the splash pad and today we got chased by bees. We are going to take a break from this park for a while. read more

Visited several times while in town for the dog park. Nice big parks with lots of room to run and sniff. Pretty busy with lots of dog friends and nice humans. Separate Small dog and Large dog sides. Water faucet outside of the gates, so be sure to bring a bowl and some water with you. A few benches and little shade throughout, but I did see a lot of people who brought in their own chairs. Doggie bags are provided and the areas are clean. read more
