I was out of town when I became aware of a tooth that felt "off", but would only be back in Mooresville a very short time before another trip. Office staff, always professional and kind, got me in for an appointment. Dr. Lembo identified the problem, then she and her staff figured out how to get it fixed that day. An hour later, I was back to see Dr. Montgomery who took care of it in under an hour, pain free and stress free. Excellent experience all around, and I'm a dental wimp, so that's saying something!

the combination of plague and unemployment beyond my control means my oral hygiene has not been up…read moreto par of late. the brushing and flossing and rinsing have continued apace but without regular professional cleanings or assessment of my efforts. not surprisingly I wound up with a bad tooth in desperate need of attention... scary bad... so bad that the x-ray showed the middle of a molar as a cloudy blob :-( also had a cracked tooth that wasn't doing me any favors but funny thing about that is while poking around in my mouth the hygienist pushed the tooth back together! heard and felt it snap back in place and the pain was about cut in half immediately. neat! still had a raging infection in my jaw but way less total mouth pain... Dr Montgomery seems a decent and concerned individual. she came in to assess my situation and explain what my dental problems were and then sent me home with referral slips and a prescription for antibiotics. my x-rays were forwarded to the other doctors along with the notes so all I had to do was make the appointments and take my meds. when I get the urgencies all taken care of I'll be back in for the more mundane treatments and evaluations and some more roller massage chair. when society collapses and the barbarians commence to pillaging I hope someone has the sense to preserve the tools of modern dentistry. yea for teeth doctors plying their trade without pliers!

Dr Burau was a great guy and extremely professional. The Dental Assistant Brandi was terrific and put me at ease for the procedure and explained everything before and after the root canal. The procedure itself was pain free and this was due to the technique used by Dr Burau to numb the tooth and how skilled he was in doing the root canal. They had virtual reality goggles and I was able to watch a movie, which made the time fly by and took my mind off having a root canal. Huge thanks to Dr Burau and his entire office staff!

They then proceeded to call the police who then showed up to my house to give me a breathalyzer. Of course I passed the test and the officers apologized. I have been unnecessarily radiated today on the top of the fact that lately a lot of x-rays has been taken of my teeth in dental office as well as endodontist office. Radiation is accumulative, and this is not something to be taken lightly. On the top of that, dental hygienist was trying to persuade me that no harm has been done, since x-rays on my right side will have to be taken anyway in two months, when I come back for deep cleaning. This is not true; x-rays are taken after deep cleaning so dental hygienist can see if everything has been cleaned properly, not months ahead. Another unprofessional act. In addition, the upbeat music which thy play in the waiting room is not helping one bit with dental office anxiety of the patients.

I find that only what is necessary is done and no procedures are done that are not explained in great details and graphically. The person who takes care of insurance coverage also does a good job and estimates are given before any work is done.
