After the initial awkwardness (do I have something in my teeth? ...other than your hand?) I got comfy in the chair and the hygienist got to work. My cleaning went pretty well which was impressive since it's been more than a year since I've seen anyone. Not a whole lot of crud and tartar so we were rinsing and spitting in short order... Got some compliments on a few fillings (Yea Dr. Maharry!) and some questions about a missing molar. When Doctor showed up he looked and poked around a bit, nodded approvingly, made a few notes and I was on my way.
