My old bike fit me comfortably but was not fit for riding long bike rides and for staying up with my friends (whom have 25lb to even less weighted bikes) and it was a 10 speed. Yeh I am a Baby Boomer. (^; My faithful steed the "Lead Sled" weighed in at 45+ lbs more so..... with water, tools, food etc. I had called ahead and told the owner what I was needing and let them know I was coming a certain day and brought my bike. I like the folks there right from the get go. Robert the owner took my bike and measured every inch of it and came up with the very best bike he could find online to rebuild to fit what I needed to ride comfortably and safely. And WOW it is awesome! I had gone to many Bike shops nearer to me and found they wanted to use the bikes they had in their stores and rebuild them. Some said they could not change the bikes enough and my body would get used to the changes made. But I know my body.. and I was ready to pay whatever was needed to be able to continue to ride bikes. I imagined I would have to pay an unbelievable price and knew it would be worth it in the long run. But no! I was able to purchase a really super nice bike, with all of the changes I needed to address my past injuries. Thank God, Robert found the perfect brand of bike to be fixed to perfection. Not only am I a lot more comfortable on the new bike than I was on the Lead Sled (which I thought was perfectly fitted for me), I am able to "almost" keep up with all the folks I ride with. Thank you Robert and his mom... Linda for all you did to help me. I will not be going to bike shops anywhere else. If they were ever to move their shop 6 hours away. I would be driving 6 hours to get the type of bike service that you all and I deserve from a great Cycle shop....."CYCLEWORKS Bicycle Shop in Mt. Airy NC!! Thank you Cycleworks!!

Tod had many different E-Bikes in his shop and he works on all of them. We ended up buying an Addmotor Grandtan 340 Trike for my wife and a Velotric Nomad for me. Josh gave us $200 off each bike, he gave us free helmets, locks, mirrors, bike locks and we had to buy a bike carrier for our bike and trike and got $200. off the carrier. I have a two year and my wife has a 1 year warranty on our bikes. If any problems during that time or later Tod will warranty his bike or repair it. We also met a family of 3 from our neighborhood in Raleigh that bought 3 bikes while we were there. Tod does it all, answers the phone, sells, repairs and and answers any and all questions you have. I cannot even get East Coast Bike Shop to answer their phone to ask questions and they had at least 3 employees in the shop when my wife and I visited the place about a month ago. Conte's Bike shop was very helpful when answering questions but after extensively checking the reviews we did not buy a Rad E-Bike Trike. I know that if and when we have problems with our E-Bikes that we have to travel to High Point but we will peace of mind that it will be done right the first time.

Our family…read morerecently booked a trolley ride to transport us to Spencer NC's train museum for the Polar Express experience. We loaded up our whole family of 13, including 5 toddlers and we had a BLAST! The Trolley has been beautifully restored and incredibly comfortable. The owner, Hal, made sure we had a smooth and fun ride, playing Christmas music and making sure we were all having a fun time. He spent time with the kids showing them how different parts of the trolley worked and let them ring the bell. The excitement of riding the trolley honestly was as much fun if not more fun than the actual train ride to follow. We had such a wonderful time that we hired them again to take our family through Tanglewood's festival of lights. I can't imagine us going through the light show in any other way. Hal made sure to point out all of the displays that he knew the kids would enjoy. He also knew a great deal about the history of Tanglewood and shared a ton of interesting facts about how the park has changed over the years. The memories create on both of these rides will be cherished by our entire family and so happy we made the decision to go with Triad Trolleys! If you are looking for a fun way of exploring the Triad area or simply for a fun night out, I cannot begin to recommend enough renting one of their trolleys for your adventure! We will be using their services again and again!

My boyfriend is African American and I'm white- not sure if it was a race thing but it's so unacceptable. My boyfriend was nice and kept trying to talk to him and figure out what kind of bikes they had and the guy insisted on continuing to tell us that they didn't have anything for us. Finally he told us that there was only 5 bikes available- but I guess he thought they were out of our price range because he said they're "2,000 though". I guess he thought we couldn't afford it. Overall a AWFUL experience and it's safe to say me and my boyfriend will never return. I would never in my life recommend this store to anyone. Update- called and spoke with the owner to let him know about the service. He was just as rude as the employee, and didn't really seem to care about the feedback. Sad as an owner of a business you don't see feedback as positive and a chance for growth. As a personal trainer very local to this area it's safe to say I will never recommend this to any of the clients I have
