The store is overcrowded with racks, clothes disheveled and employees that won't even acknowledge you when you walk by them or vice versa. The parking lot outside Belk gives you a preview of what's in store. You cannot see the paint lines clearly, the exterior of the building doesn't match the part of the mall that Belk does not own. Now you're probably thinking it's this way because it's Christmas, but it's like this all the time. I'd recommend shopping at the Belk in Winston Salem, because at least down there, you can park in a decent parking lot and move through the store without tripping over a lot of fixtures while seeing a good choice of clothes. Sure, the employees still won't speak to you, but we've all grown accustomed these days to poor customer service e everywhere, right?

A few months ago, the third generation owner of Davidsons announced that Davidsons Men's Clothing, a long-standing family-owned menswear retailer established in Roanoke in 1910 will be sold to R. Coffee Ltd., a menswear store based in Lynchburg, Virginia. The new owner has expressed his commitment to preserving the legacy and traditions of Davidsons, ensuring a seamless transition for its customers. The Roanoke store will continue to operate under the Davidsons name and will retain its current staff, brands, and personalized services. The new owner plans to introduce new opportunities for growth, such as bringing in some new brands while keeping Davidsons' established lines, and merging the websites of both stores to allow for online shopping. Currently the Men's Clothing store is having a 30% Off Sale on everything in the store, including Suites, Sport Coats, Dress and Casual Pants, Shoes, Accessories, and Sportswear. After hearing about the sale I decided to go check it out, especially to check on some Magnanni fine leather shoes that were hardly never on sale that I loved and was looking forward to purchasing. Once there, Sales Associate Lydia took good care of me, finding my size of the Magnanni model shoe I liked and helping me try them on. Since they tend to run big. Size eight and a half was the perfect size for me. I took advantage of the sale which made the shoes more affordable to purchase. Lydia even gave me a Davidsons complimentary shoe horn with the shoes I ended up buying. If you're like me who like the very best in men's clothing and accessories, as well as exceptional customer service, I highly recommend this store to you.

Trosa is located on Peters Creek Hwy in the Food Lion strip center at the Clemmonsville exit. It's easy to get to and there's plenty of parking which I love. Right inside the door is their whole furniture section, they have tons of tables, chairs, dressers , etc. they even have a whole section of office specific furniture. The prices are very reasonable. This would be a furniture flippers paradise. Towards the back they have shelves of everything from pillows to whole sets of dishes, sports equipment and the most medical mobility equipment I've ever seen anywhere. I'd say, if you are in need of a walker, a bath seat or portable toilet for someone look here because they probably have it at a fraction of the cost it would be to purchase new or rent. The clothing is grouped all together but they aren't keeping it organized as well as it needs to be. All different sizes were mixed in together and I quickly got frustrated and gave up. Both of us had found an item in the kitchen area we wanted so we headed to check out. The workers were very friendly as well. I'll definitely be checking out Trosa regularly in the future. Trosa supports substance abuse treatment. If you want to donate to them, they offer pick up for larger items or you can bring your items to their donation drop off around the back of the store. Just follow the signs.

It is either an older (stately) home converted into a clothing store or it used to be a office building. Either way, it is room after room (and an upstairs too) just absolutely packed with great clothes and the prices are completely affordable. It would be well worth driving to Stuart just to stop in here to shop and it is practically the only independent (non-chain) that I know of that has clothes for the office, church or evening wear. Prices are competitive with any department store.
