Yikes. I just moved to the area, and have been looking for a place like the one I used to go to (K K Massage in Riverside), I love the convenience, price, and services at little foot reflexology places that seem to be everywhere lately. My expectations aren't very high in terms of the quality of the massage. All I hope for is to relax and peace out for an hour. But that was impossible at this place. My masseuse was so fast and rough that I left hurting. It seemed like he might have been not paying attention to what he was doing and seemed distracted. There was nothing relaxing about this service. During the massage, another of the staff went into the bathroom and soon the whole place smelled. I know it's sometimes unavoidable, but it was still really gross. Soon after, another of the staff started microwaving his lunch - which was in the same room as the massages - started eating, and burped loudly. The whole time - the bad massage, the bodily functions - I was just trying to bear it so I could hurry up and get out of there. I went to pay and was asked, "Would you like to pay for your tip with your credit card or with cash?" I was a little taken aback at the presumption, but said, "Credit card." I figured even the worst experience deserves a 10% tip, right? When I told him 10%, he laughed and asked me for 20%. I said no, that it hadn't been a good massage and then he asked again for a dollar more than I'd given him. It was bizarre and uncomfortable. I've never been asked for a bigger tip. I really wanted to like this place, as a friend recommended it to me. Seems like there are a lot of good reviews, so maybe I just got a bad masseuse. But wouldn't want to take the chance of having the same experience there again. read more

Excellent service and value!! We did 75 minutes with hot stones for $30. We are here from out of town and go to a couple foot spas at home in San Diego! This place was great. They are very clean and conscientious. I will definitely go back! They were very kind and gave a great massage!!! read more

LOVE THIS PLACE!! So glad I stumbled across it. I went through a period where I was looking for a good massage place near me and I had some rough experiences. The folks at Sunshine Massage treat you very well, they're polite, the massages are ok and very inexpensive. Normally when the prices are cheap, the workers demand a HUGE tip. Not the case here at all. I'm a semi-regular and I tell all my friends about it. It's a great little hidden gem. UPDATE*** January 2017 This place sucks now. The massages are OK, nothing spectacular. If you've got knots or need them to focus on a particular spot, they don't do that. They've got their set routines and that's what you get. The two good points about this place are; its location isn't far (from me), and the prices are pretty cheap. But now they're way too busy and haven't expanded in any way to deal with the increase. I used to pop in and maybe had to wait twenty minutes before getting seated. Today was the third time in a row that they've turned me away and I'm just done driving over to just drive back. I stopped by at 7pm, three hours left in their day and I saw two other people waiting and they turned me way without apology. Apparently every single chair was spoken for the following three hours. They didn't even ask what I wanted, I could have been there for a quicky 20 minute massage. I guess it didn't matter. I don't know how many people might have gone there based on my review, but I thought I would update it to be honest about how this place has changed. The best thing about this place was that you didn't have to plan your day around them. Things change I guess. read more

Good massage with affordable price. People there are very friendly, too.

For the price this place just can't be beat. I'm not even going to knock off a star for noise, or another because the workers were repeatedly cooking noodles in the microwave (I know, I can smell it and hear the slurping haha). That's because for $35 (before tip) I got one of the best massages and it was 90 minutes long!! There was oil, there was dim lighting, and there was awesome massage music version of Michael Jackson playing in the background. I went with May as my massage therapist based on another yelpers review, though Im sure they are all good considering the dude two seats down was snoring. : ) read more

I went there for the first time and I didn't like the fact there was no privacy . During my massage the guy started a conversation with person next to him leaving me waiting..plus hand smell like cigarettes . I also heard them having dinner talk about no peace.. I won't go back again ! read more

I was upset with place because I called to make an appointment and then when I went to cancel due to a family emergency, they hung up on me.

If you like being in one same room with everyone else getting their massage and all the noise that can come along with that. The guy I had still smelled of his smoke and basically it was kinda more like a rubdown with lotion vs an intentional getting into pressure points and massaging with any kind of purpose. Reading these Yelp review beforehand clued me in to just giving a $10 tip as I didn't want to deal with any potential battles or hostilities. read more

I wasn't sure what to expect. My husband decided to try this place after we went to another location that said they were busy. It was a great decision! We called and by the time we arrived they were also busy, but we reminded them that we just called and they cleared the table. First check! Then the massage began. The hot stones were wonderful and Jason worked on my back like he was familiar with my body. I will be back. Thank you, Jason! read more

Came here on Sunday with very sore feet after a 12 hr day of standing at a garage sale sale, and my experience here was perfect! I beat the rush (by the time I left it was full) and even though massages are performed on every client in a communal room, it still felt tranquil and relaxing. I paid $20 for a 60 minute massage that included foot, as well as head, neck, shoulders, arms and legs AND back. Such a good value... I'll definitely be coming again! read more

I LOVE THIS PLACE!!!! If you are in the area, you HAVE to stop by and experience this little hidden treasure. From the moment you walk in you are greeted with a warm smile and welcoming. The massage is excellent and the people are incredibly kind and they create an ambiance of relaxation and trust. This is my new favorite place for relaxation and rejuvenation. read more

My friend is a regular and referred me to Sunshine. I told them I was new and that a friend told me about them. At the end of the day I paid $40 plus $10 tip (which I shouldn't have) for a full body message. My friend gets a full body message for $25. Why do they do that? $15 is $15, but I won't be back. If you are new, have a price in mind before they take advantage. The message was good, but the atmosphere is not. You are right on the corner of a busy street. read more

Although you get no privacy and the decor is lacking, you can't beat the price, nor the massage. For $20 you get an hour full body massage (clothes on) with about 20 mins focused on reflexology. I'd definitely recommend this if you just need a quick and easy wind-down from a long day/week. read more

They are horrible they do not listen to you, they were very rough when I said to lighten up, when I left a low tip they chased me And my friend down who was a police officer and threw our tip at us, we are still deciding on assault charges. Don't go there, they messed up my neck. read more

I have been feeling a bit stressed lately and decided I could use a little relaxation so I decided to try this place. When I walked in I was immediately disappointed by what I saw. The place was small and looked run down. The chairs and towels didn't look too inviting. I was going to give the place a try anyway but what turned me off completely was the three employees lounging in the chairs watching TV when I walked in. They asked me if I wanted a massage and then proceeded to fight over who would have to do it. They were all so comfortable that none of them wanted to get up! That was it for me so I let me know that I was going to go to the establishment down the street. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND! read more

Staff are really friendly. Good massage. I would call first to see if they can accommodate you. Especially if more than one person.

This place continues to be AWESOME! 20$ foot massage that includes back massage. I come here every month and have always enjoyed my massages so much! I've brought my sister, best friend and boyfriend here and they've never had a bad massage here with any masseuse. read more

Seriously. Can't beat the price or the service. They are kind, respectful, and do a great massage. I liked the review that said no frills. The light is blocked by paint in one window and Christmas paper in another... but it doesn't matter as your mind and body will be transported (and eyes closed) for the hour... the blankets that cover you are clean, the lotion smells good and is soothing, they cover the buckets they soak your feet in so it is sanitary- can't thank them enough for this tired nurse body that is broken and beaten after long shifts. I owe them many thanks for putting me back together again to work another week. read more

Very small place, but kind staff. I liked that they washed their hands before starting your massage, they wore gloves when they massaged your feet and washed their hands again after taking them off... My friend and I did the #4 massage ( they have a list of different massages to choose from) which was 75 minutes long and they used oils. My headache went away after my massage and I definitely will return. read more

$20 for 1 hour massage in a great deal! I took my daughter here with me and she enjoyed her foot massage. They also massage your neck, back, and arms as aprt of the package. My massage was overall good but the gentleman was too rough when he got to my back that it hurt. Ill go back again and try a different person with a softer touch. read more

Wonderful place and great people. We witnessed two CRAZY women complaining. They have great prices for the massages they do and it's absolutely insane to complain about this place. I have never had a bad experience here. The women were loud, rude, and completely ruined my experience here today. Shame on them!!! I would definitely recommend this place to anyone!!! read more

Last time I went it was very uncomfortable. The workers/family decided to have lunch, have a chat about whatever and watch TV sitting in the empty chairs. I felt like everyone was watching my get my massage. read more

I was a walk in and only had to wait for about 10mins. This was my first experience going to a $15-20 hour foot massage so I didn't know what to expect. The masseuse (don't remember her name) did a great job. She was strong but gentle, friendly and took her time. Not sure if I can get used to other people getting massages in the same room. The squeaking of the massage beds and moaning and groaning kept me from fully relaxing ( if you know what I mean) So although it wasn't quite my cup of tea I enjoyed the massage and might consider going back on a slow day. read more

Great value for money. Like the other reviewers have pointed out, yes, it all happens in one room, but that didn't hamper my experience one bit. They are professional, and it's probably the best massage I've ever had, yep that good! I got the 60-min head, neck, foot and back massage. It was super-easy to get an appointment, I literally called them 15 mins in advance and they were able to accommodate me on a Sunday afternoon. I will be going regularly, and I highly recommend this place read more

Best massage for your dollar in the area. See Raphael he is the BEST! So sweet and attentive. I have tons of back and neck issues and he can really get in there. I've been to tons of places and he is the best! They are all very sweet and even gave me a Mother's Day present!!! This is the only place I will come to now! read more

Great experience! My boyfriend and I found this spot on Yelp and are so glad we did! Quaint and clean and very kind staff. We both fell asleep within minutes and had a great 60-minute massage. Great prices and we tipped generously which both therapists appreciated immensly. We will be back! read more

Really enjoyed my massage as I walked in tight from my lower back up to my shoulders and neck. I just sat back and let them take over...work out all my knots as I am a very satisfied customer read more

I highly recommend this massage place. The massage was fantastic. Another place closed in Monrovia and I was looking for a new place. Well I have found it. Small gem tucked in at fifth and foothill. The sign outside said foot massage so I wasn't sure if this was sunshine massage. (Might need to change signage). However beautiful inside, and each table is discreetly behind a curtain. Music is soothing. Employees very gracious. I recommend a 90 min. I had the combo feet soak and body massage and surprise the hot stones are complimentary. 50$. Plus tip is a super bargain considering I paid double that in the spas. Go try it out if your looking for a truly relaxing massage. read more

Don't get body massage here. The guy who did the service was literally fisting my stiff shoulders and neck causing serious pain the next day. Not to mention he was drumming the back of my head. Yes, it hurts. I've gone to the medical clinic to check with the doctor and was told the prognosis is similar to a whiplash. read more

Had a greeeeeeat massage here from I believe the name he used was Jerry lol had the 1 hour oil massage. Felt very loose & tension/knot free after services. I have nothing to complain about. read more

The place was on a busy intersection where you can hear all the traffic and I'm still giving them 5 stars. A few reviews mentioned Rafael so I requested him and asked for the 90 minute $35 combo message and it was the best I've ever had. And I've done these at various places once a month. It was fabulous even before the great price and I expect Rafael will go viral on yelp. I wish I wasn't 3,000 miles from home so I could be a regular. read more

I love this place and have been coming for years! Clean and well maintained with friendly and professional service. But of course, best of all are the awesome massages and how great I feel when I leave :) read more

Nice for price. Tip should be generous, as long as they make an effort to help you feel better.

Had two massages here in the last 3 weeks which were awesome! Each was an hour long and fabulous. I wanted a female masseuse and got one both times and both of them were strong, sensitive, warm and caring. I can't believe the value I received. The $20 price was amazing, tip well! I know I will be back and will bring my friends. Thanks so much to the staff for all you do! Please keep it up. read more

This is the closest foot massage outside of San Gabriel. They do such a great job! Nice relaxing music inside. There are only about 10 stations so I usually call to make an appointment. Overall it's a good experience and a nice affordable relaxation activity for winding down your week or a date night. read more

Raffael is also a great masseur! Must run in the family, he is very good and always so accommodating.

Was in town for a visit, when my spouse suggested we get a massage? So glad I agreed to go! First off, it was "Extremely Affordable" The place was Clean, Staff was welcoming, and I had an awesome massage. This place is a gem!! It's close to my folks' house so we go every time I'm in town. It never disappoints!

No English spoken here. Only english spoken was $1 to use a visa, how much was the tip? Woman ran my card I tried to tell her about amount of tip. She didn't understand me. I used my sign language to the massus standing there I would go to my car to get a tip. I went out to my car and was looking for my cash and noticed the receptionist and masseus had come out of the business to watch me. Odd I had already paid for my massage. I went inside and needed change for $20. The receptionist only had $10 bills. The massus brought out change. He had smaller change. I was giving him a $5 tip and he gestured not enough of a tip. So the only English know at this place is $1 to use your payment card. How much are you tipping? Only communication here is pointing. So if you speak the language great. I still waked away w/my headache and found out the English speaking girl isn't even an employee. She was someone walking by who set my appt. Strange awkward place. If you speak English this is not the place to go. SERIOUSLY. Massage was read more
