Matt was friendly and super helpful AND he knows what's in this stuff and documents it. He even loaded it first before charging me which is a bit of trust I appreciated. My husband and I own and operate a custom cabinet shop in Patterson, CA. We had been looking for a new double drum sander to replace our old one. At this time I was not aware that MacBeath even sold machines. Long story short, my husband was like a kid at Christmas when our double drum sander arrived. Thanks very much. The lady told me the end of the week it would be done. Never herd back. Called a week 1 1/2 weeks later and the owner went to check on it and said "oh its still sitting where you left it on the front counter, I'll have it done today for you! We'll decided to let that go and myself and my husband went in and ordered his SAR hat(as tgey are the only ones that can do them). We were specifically told 1 to 1 1/2 weeks. Well that passed and I called and left a message asking where our order was. I received a text back stating it was done. Drove down there and it wasn't even correct! They didn't even put my husband's name on it! So I have to drive all the way back(we live up country) to get it today. I called and asked for a discount due to the issues. He said what issues? So I told him it wasn't ready when promised and then you told me it was done when it wasn't and now I have to drive all the way back. He just went silent! I said "I'll take that as a no?" He goes ya no it was just delayed...then he says I think I told you we were backed up. I told him no sorry that was never told to us and it was more than just delayed that it wasn't even right when you said it was completed. He then said well you already paid right and I said yes to he just offered a discount on a future purchase. I told him we wouldn't ever come back after both orders being a mess and neither being done when told, Im sure glad we didnt need them by a certain time! Told him he had crappy customer service as well. Not sure why he can't understand there was way more wrong than just a delay with both orders and a discount for the hat issues should be given.(not store credit). If it was done correctly when he said it was and I went to go get it then a little delay would have been OK but this is unexceptional! I wouldnt recommend having any work done here!

I would give it zero stars if I could post a review with that well deserved rating…read more The owner of this business is prejudiced against smaller trucks - like my 2020 GMC Canyon Denali 4x4 Crewcab. He has repeatedly changed his towing requirements after I show up to pick up the reserved equipment and has refused to rent equipment to me because of my "small truck". I have pointed out that my truck weighs as much as the acceptable basic GMC Sierra and has towing rating that exceeds its big brother by 900lbs. Yet this "businessman" states he will only rent his yard equipment (in this case a small tractor of 2500 lbs) to people with bigger pickups. This is idiotic and defies physics and logic. This prejudice was finally said out loud, on this my third (and final) attempt to rent equipment from him. Previously I had attempted to rent a much larger tractor from him and each subsequent failed rental reservation was for equipment at a lighter load, and each previous time it was stated (incorrectly) that my truck couldn't handle the load... but if the load was only lighter.... Now it is clear it is just his prejudice that fuels his discrimination, particularly since he has stated that ANY 1500 class truck would be rented to for the same loads I was denied. It isn't only that this fool wasted my time, insulted me, and didn't even follow his own logic with regards to vehicle weight and power, but the fact is the last time he did this I successfully rented the same equipment from a competitor (120 miles away - he has a monopoly in his area) and I towed the 4000lbs equipment all the way up the mountain to my property and back - several times, without a single issue. This genius lost 8 weeks of equipment rental at $1500 a week, for all his foolishness and bigotry. Today was my final attempt to work with this numbskull! I refuse to waste my time again with someone who so clearly deserves to go out of business. I suspect that if he had any competition in the area he'd be out of business already! Here's hoping it happens soon so someone competent to run such a business takes up the challenge.
