After taking a thorough history Michelle recommended specific tests and blood work to be understand my specific situation. She then reviewed the results with me, explaining in easy to understand terms what was happening in my body. I really appreciated the combination of functional medical tests along with Michelle's professional expertise to help me understand clearly what was happening and determine the best course of action to address it. One of the primary recommendations was to follow the Metabolic Balance Nutrition and Lifestyle Program under Michelle's supervision. I found this to be a life changing program that redefined the way that I eat to suit my body's specific needs. After completing 90 days of the program I felt great, my blood work had improved and I had a plan to continue for my long-term health. Michelle is thorough, highly knowledgeable and a genuine professional healer. What I honestly appreciate most about Michelle is her authentic care and heartfelt intention. Whether talking on the phone or in person you can feel that Michelle loves her work and is passionate about nutrition. This energy is inspiring and motivating and exactly what I am looking for in a health professional. I highly recommend Michelle to anyone who would like to improve their health, energy, metabolism, relationship with food, understand their body better and incorporate a healthy nutritional plan tailored for their body and personal needs. Working with Shanti over the past couple of years has been so much more than a journey toward…read morelosing weight. It has genuinely changed the way I understand my body, my relationship with food, and how I approach my overall well-being. I originally came to Shanti because I wanted to lose weight. And while I have lost weight, it hasn't happened as quickly or to the extent I initially hoped. But what I've come to realize is that the real value of working with Shanti isn't just about losing weight. It's about learning how to live well in the body you've been given and helping it function at its best. Shanti doesn't teach quick fixes or one-size-fits-all nutrition plans. She teaches lifelong skills tailored to your body, your tastes, your preferences, and your lifestyle. She helps you understand how your body processes what you consume and how to make choices that actually work for you. The weight loss becomes a natural result of building healthier, more sustainable habits rather than the sole measure of success. What makes Shanti truly special is how holistic her approach is. Yes, she's incredibly knowledgeable about nutrition and the physical side of health, but she also helps you connect the dots between your hormones, cycles, emotions, environment, and consumption. You begin to understand not just what you're eating or drinking, but why, and how all of these things influence one another. That awareness has changed so much for me. It's transformed my relationship with food and alcohol, and even how I think about friendships, boundaries, and the environments I put myself in. You start to recognize what supports the life you want to live and what might be getting in the way. While the coaching may start with nutrition and your body, the experience feels much more like having a life coach. Shanti helps you build a deeper understanding of yourself and gives you the tools to make meaningful, lasting changes. I'm incredibly grateful for what I've learned from her. If you're looking for someone who will help you do more than just reach a number on the scale, I can't recommend Shanti enough. You're investing in skills and self-awareness that will benefit you for the rest of your life.

I walked in and realized it's something like a juice bar. But not like the kind I'm used to. Am I out of the loop? Is this a normal thing now? I don't know. I looked at the menu, something about shakes and teas... After failing to decipher the menu, the fellow working there walked me through it. Basically, you get an iced tea with healthy stuff and a shake with healthy stuff. Both were very tasty, and the shake was filling enough to be lunch, so the price is reasonable enough. I'm no nutritionist, but I felt great afterward. I also appreciated the quirky, local, almost opinionated (in a good way) vibe. I want to see more places like this. I intend to go back.
