They respect your appointment time, the amount of pressure you're comfortable with and check in with you to ensure it's still ok while giving you your massage, have great hospitality, and they don't try to push other services. After my massages I literally feel like I don't want to leave. I stayed in the room for a little while once after my massage was over and they came back to check on me lol I did not want to leave, I felt so relaxed and good. I have work later so I told them I had a appointment. They just kept saying that it was pouring and that the esthetician didn't see that there was a appointment and other excuses. I didn't want to leave and come back for the same reason that it's pouring outside. I can't understand why they won't do something to accommodate me or make up for their mistake. It was supposed to be a relaxing day for me but because of them not being organized and being irresponsible it is not anymore!

Needless to say, the city is filled with massage businesses and finding a reputable one wasn't easy. Spring Spa is a small boutique oriental owned and operated business. It's very clean, quaint, and legitimate. My massage therapist May, was very knowledgeable in deep tissue massage and hot stone therapy. I paid $40 for a half hour, well worth the price for the level of massage therapy I got. I am very active and physically fit and put my body through the ringer 24/7. Massage therapy is a must-have for me, and Spring Spa was awesome. Highly recommended from someone who doesn't tolerate BS or slackers for my money. If you live in Pompano Beach, go to Spring Spa

I decided to treat myself to a prenatal massage and was referred to Body & Balance by a friend. They also have a live Groupon to try it at a discount. I booked a 60-minute prenatal massage which is 50 minutes of hands on activity and five minutes before and after. It's regularly $85 but you can add in aromatherapy for $10. Again, I got a price break with Groupon and also got a coupon afterwards for a return visit, so you may want to check that out. The masseuse's name is Oneida and she's very friendly and encouraging for moms to be. When it comes to prenatal massage, you either lie on your side or some spas have a special pillow for your belly so you can be facedown. Here, they have you lie on your side which was still comfy and I was able to relax. While she can't go too deep, I found the pressure to be good... Only complaint was that it went by too fast! Body & Balance offers a lot more besides prenatal massage including deep tissue, Swedish, and hot stone massages, as well as cupping.
