I had heard about it, but I had my regular places I went to for suits and nice clothes. I know where I will go from now on. There are so many brands of outstanding fashion designers for men there and the selection was endless. Everything was very reasonably priced. The colors and patterns were not typical of navy, black, and tan. They jumped right off the clothes. There were bright, vivacious colors that you don't see at Brooks Brothers or Bacharach. The only thing more impressive than the selection and quality of the clothing was the service I received. OMG, Wendy not only knew all the brands, how they fit, and what sizes were available, but it was like she could read my mind about what went well together and what would be comfortable for me. It was like she knew my measurements by just looking at me. The only issue I had was that I didn't allow myself enough time. I purchased some shoes; I was not walking out empty-handed, but I definitely will be coming back again, and again, and again. The thing I really enjoyed and appreciated was Wendy's attitude. She was dressed to the 9's, very professional, she knew the products in and out, she was informative and not salesy or pushy. I felt very comfortable and trusted her advice. By the way she was dressed, I knew she had the kind of taste I like in clothing. Sharp, neat, respectful, but also fun. If I'm honest, the cherry on the sundae was her smile. She looked happy to be there and like she enjoyed her profession. It's hard in retail to find a salesperson in a store, period, one that wants to be there and is helpful, good luck. That's what I had, good luck, because I had the privilege of having her assistance. I am excited to go back, I will make sure I have a lot of time and make some space in my closet. I will also call ahead to make sure Wendy is there because I can't imagine being helped by anyone else. It was nice to start the day off with a smile and a new, cool pair of kicks. The store is not very big but there is an infinite number of choices. Tailored clothes are usually more expensive than their off the rack equivalents. However, Claymore's prices are on par or better than competitors. Once you buy tailored clothes you never want to go back to off the rack. It may be the only choice for people who can't buy off the rack without looking like they are wearing their father or little brother's clothes on. Every man should have at least one tailored piece of clothing, it really makes a difference. Atmosphere can be a little intimidating if you don't know some of the terminology so make sure you Wikipedia some.. The staff will do the rest will make you feel at ease. If you are not sure what you are looking for, let the staff know your style, where you intend to wear them, and how often. The staff knows what they are talking about and will lead you to the right choices. Tips: 1) Wait for store or seasonal sales which they have all the time. 2) Register with them and you will get coupons in the mail. 3) If you can afford it, ask for the "bespoke" collection. They cost more but the quality is commensurate with the price. 4) Take advice from Charlie, Mike, and the rest of the staff. These guys are up on the latest trends, styles, and fabrics. 5) If something does not fit right, speak up. Claymore wants you to come back. 6) Colors, patterns, and details can all be tailored. Don't be afraid to ask. For example: Most of my sport coats have some kind of unique lining and people always notice. It does not always cost more.

I tried contacting online and didn't hear back for almost a week while they were investigating. Ben helped me escalate it in person and I got my refunds, within the hour or 2, as well as my return labels for what I received but decided not to keep. Great value suits at great prices, they really do look and fit great; nice selections too, great in-store phone customer service. Give Ben a raise ASAP! They have a huge selection of suits and honestly without assistance we would have been overwhelmed. The store always very busy but the staff did a great job of balancing giving us attention and giving us space. They helped him choose a beautiful Italian wool navy suit that he could wear to the weddings and a dark green suit (I never would have thought he could pull of that color) for the less formal events.
