What bothered me was what happened when I handed her a $5 bill. She walked over to a machine to scan it, then held it up to the light, examining it as if it were fake. I'm not sure if they've had problems with counterfeit bills recently, but I found it insulting. The three men before me, who appeared to be the same ethnicity as her, gave her larger bills, and she didn't take the same steps with theirs. That experience made me uncomfortable, and it's the reason I won't be returning.

This was my last stop which was recommended by a worker at a competing store. The sizes are a bit weird. I normally wear an 11, but they didn't fit. I tried on 12s. They didn't fit. I had to get 13s. I compared the 11, 12 & 13 shoes from heel to toe on the pairs that didn't fit and the length were the same. I even tried on 14s and some fit and some didn't. I have never anything above 10&11. Luckily I found pairs that I could were for the interview, even if a little loose. I was thankful for that. The price wasn't bad. One pair was lower at the register. On 7/25/23 I decided to open it and to my dismay the bottle had leaked in the bag making my receipt unreadable and it had no plastic tube on the inside of the bottle so that it can't be sprayed. I tried to exchange it the same day and was told I could not because 1st I've had it to long I should have noticed earlier that it was leaking said one of the managers and 2nd I can't return a fragrance that's not in the original package so they can resale it. I asked how can you resale a defective product? How would I know if it's defective until I open it? Burlington refused to exchange it. I called customer service and was told the same thing. How do you sell an obvious defective product and the only way to see if it's defective is to open it up and then tell a customer we can't take it back because it's open. Make it make sense, so now you've taken my money and I'm stuck with a product I cannot use.
