I first came to this location which is bigger than the two other stores and I did not find anything…read morefor my size so we went to the Crabtree Valley Mall and the Louisburg store. The woman at the Crabtree Valley Mall had a "can you afford it?" attitude so I ended up going back to Luisbourg location where I finally bought the 3 piece suite back in August and since they don't do alterations they send you to this location. All I needed was the pant plain bottom and they did it in a timely manner but when I got home I actually wore it and realized that the pant had a defect, upon lifting one leg to go upstairs the zipper would show. I returned to the store and explained to the manager fearing he would say "sorry, there is nothing we can do after the pant has been cut to your size" but I was wrong, he understood and agreed there was a problem and said the tailor would fix it, I wasn't sure if the "hot shot" would be able to fix it but he did, he obviously knows his trade. 13 is not bad for the cut. I am not sure why they weren't able to produce the same suit when I first walked in. Sales dept seems to be better at the Louisburg store, the lady was very patient with me to get the right size. Will return to buy me one more at the same store on Louisburg Rd.

She personally assisted us with shopping for appropriate dresses for a 8th Grader. Unfortunately we did not find a perfect fit, however, the selection at Dillards for evening gowns and Special Occasions is tremendous. I appreciate the fact they dedicated a portion of the store to Juniors sizes. Many of the other department stores have gotten rid of Juniors/ Misses and have merged styles with Women's clothing. Dillards has an abundance of designers, I just wish the price tags were reasonable.

Consequently, when I received this latest order, I simply removed the stickers and hung them in the closet. When I put a pair on a few days later, I discovered that I had ordered Classic "Straight Leg" pants rather than the ones I had always ordered, and they were entirely too skimpy and uncomfortable. I went through the return process, but today got the pants back with the notation that the stickers had been removed and the pants were thus not returnable, even though they were obviously new. Naturally, I won't be shopping at Dillard's again but hope that Dillard's customers will be alert to their ridiculously restrictive return policy.

There were issues with making a "group" for our order. Such as, not being offered to make a group at the first visit, and then all subsequent visits being talked down to because we didn't make a group. Which we would have loved to do, had we known. I reccomend if a problem like that arises in the future, don't make your customer, who had no idea that a "group" needed to be made, feel bad or let them in on how much of a hassle it is that you have to do a few extra clicks on the computer. When you run into an issue, and all the customer wants to do is make a purchase in your place of business, move along and stop being so whiny. The bad service would have been tolerable, if the orders had been appropriately fitted and not come in later than we were told. When the orders came in late, it made it difficult to try to reorder the pieces that were wrong. Which by the way, staff was also rude to us about. I've heard good things about other formal wear places. The father of the bride had a great experience at a local formal wear shop, he said "the man that helped me was so nice". When your nice, people will love to spend money at your business. The bride and groom however, feel robbed after the experience here.
