Finish Line-- the great silence - a narrative!…read more Why I'm giving 3 stars - they carry a wonderfully diverse line of shoes, clothing, etc.. However, the staff needs some additional training. I came in like a storm, blew in and was ready to breeze on out after my purchase. My sons, the big fellas, like athletic gear and this is one of their favorite stores. I knew that the sale was awesome even if the customer service left much to be desired. I received no assistance on my quest for shorts, but none was really needed. I headed to the counter after eyeballing and securing my items only to be greeted by a young man who surely believes he belongs on the cover of Vogue magazine. He made absolutely no attempt to greet me, like zero, none, not a one, zip, zilcho, goose egg- not even a hello! I was subjected to a slight head nod- which in the new teen/young adult vernacular appears to mean "how can I help, may I assist you". Having 2 teens myself, I am familiar with the language, but don't allow it in my presence. I waited to hear a verbal affirmation that he was ready to ring me up, I can assure you, none ever came. I made my purchase in silence, like an off beat Charlie Chan movie -- I really deserved an Oscar, Emmy, at least a Razzy. I managed to be silent and pleasant concurrently. While my sales associate just came off as the guy you hate to see in the club, the one that thinks he's super hip, while being a total jerk at the same time. I left without ever really saying 2 words. Customer service is becoming such a lost art that we are thrown off when we actually receive it. My sneakerologist should be as kind and accommodating as my dentist! Nothing says "hello" better than a great smile and nice proper fitting shoe. Do better Finish Line, do better!!

I'm giving them one star because I can't give a negative star. My experience was horrible. I was in…read morethere on 4/14/18. Three employees in the store and not one greeted us or asked us if we needed any help. After 10 minutes of looking around I had to go interrupt their dance party and ask for help. I asked the young lady for help and she pointed me to ask the other employee. I guess her dancing was more important the the customers. So I took my business to Champs. They were great at champs so we purchased our shoes from them. Horrible experience and may never return.

Went in here over the weekend with my daughter because we've driven by several times and always…read morethought it looked so cute from the road. There is parking off of wells street but the main entrance is on a very busy road. I don't recommend parking in front as it's a corner building and there was heavy traffic. The parking lot is much easier to get in and out of. It's a private parking g lot with about 10 spaces. Now when a place says boutique you have to realize it'll be pricey. Keep this in mind. Walking in we were greeted by the employee who was sweet and answered our questions and my 16 yo was perusing the merch without me by her side and I noticed the employee glued to my daughter like superglue. So Inched closer to my young and employee seemed to back away a bit. When I backed off, employee got closer to my young. Ok I get it she's a kid and could be a thief. Wrong. Not all kids are like that. This irritated me right away. It also made my young very uncomfortable. They had some adorable trinkets and gifts from kitchen to baby to bridal to housewarming. You name it they had. Infact there was so much merch that it was hard to concentrate on one section. Between the merch, clothes and decorations it was hard to focus on what you were looking at. There were so many colors too. Like a rainbow exploded in the showroom and left a trail of glitter and glam. Ok let's talk about prices. Rompers $180, sweaters $100-on sale, shirts and shorts and skirts $79-100. Wow behind my realm of pocket book money. And Knick knacks starting at $20 for a spoon moving upward to $100 or more for plates and purses, shoes and jewelry. Need a candle $40. Need a greeting card $6 for a 2x4 size piece of paper. Very cute dressing area with a bed for a sitting area while a person waits. Then there is a pedastool for the person to stand upon that is trying on clothes with bright lights aimed all around them. Sort of like when you're trying on wedding dresses. It's very New York'ish. Adorable bows act as fillers with large flowers in vases adorn every corner that the owner thinks needs a decoration. I don't think there is one inch of space that isn't decorated. All fancied in pink and creams. Even the wares they sell seem to be links creams and pastel colors. I'd recommend going just to take a look and see if it's what you like and can afford and of course you're supporting local.
