I was at Footlocker buying runners, I have foot problems ( bunions) AD the store manager was with me for over an hour selecting different shoes, having me try them and walking with the different shoes. I dealt with a few sales people and they were terrible. I was trying on a pair of shoes and was walking around trying to find a mirror. One of the employees goes to another "keep an eye on her". They thought I was going to steal the shoes! I was hurt so I spoke to the manager and not once did he apologize but instead sided with his employees "we have a lot of shoplifters". Their loss. I was going to purchase shoes for myself and sons. I took it up to Corporate and the GM later called me. I finally got the apology from him. Never gonna shop their again! read more

I've been searching for a comfy shoes at the metrotown mall. I came across this shoe store (Foot Locker), despite of having a plantar fasciitis on my right foot, I was patiently being assisted to by a certain sales associate and also a manager Kenneth, he was extremely knowledgeable about the product and he explain to me the heel shoe cushion that would help alleviate the pain. He recommended a pair of shoes and I felt relieve. I was limping when I came in. I even put on my new pair of shoes right after the purchase. Could almost give a 4 stars, simply for its decor, very night club like, all blacked out when you enter in. Used to be the Athlete's World but even bigger, took out whatever used to be beside it. lots of staff today, helpful too. Was looking for compression hockey socks but he recommended I'd check out SportChek. One room literally is all Nike, and the other room is everything else. Shoes organized on a slant. Kinda reminds me of the DT Nike in Portland. read more

Was so surprised at the service, I had to give them 5 stars. Needed runners for my 18 month old that would work with his orthotics. The staff were super helpful, played with my son to keep him happy, trotted out many different brands and sizes so that he could try them on with the orthotics. Appreciated their patience, friendliness and professionalism. Whoever trains you is doing a great job. Keep it up. read more

Obviously the big box store needs no introduction - I'm writing a review on this one and the one in Richmond Center as they've surprised me with remaining 1-2 pairs of hot items on discount. Airmax 270 at $60 (original price $200) for wack colors but great kicks (still get compliments and cheaper than rubber soled Converse!) and cool raffles (Yeezy 350) every few months keep me coming back. Great helpful young and cute crew that works here too. Would recommend! read more

Thankfully I do and was able to figure out what I needed and corrected his mistakes otherwise with my bad knee I would've walked out with a pair of runners that weren't for me. I usually don't do this but I was compelled to give a review given my most recent experience today. I understand that I came in close to closing and it is the holiday season so people want to get out as soon as possible, but with a store staffed with 8 people on the floor, not one person cared to help me when I had two shoes in my hand and obviously needed assistance. I already knew what shoes I wanted and just needed a size. I made eye contact with four people and they just pretended not to see me, two ignored me when I asked for help. There was a lady of a darker ethnicity wearing all black instead of the usual striped uniforms and counting the cash at the till so I'm guessing she was a manager. She heard me asking for help and was staring at me while she was talking to another employee. She did not care to step away from while catching eye contact various times while I continuously said "excuse me" hoping to catch the attention of the employee she was talking to whose back was turned to me (or anyone for that matter). I finally received some assistance when she turned around. I also work in customer service and don't expect special treatment but usually, the rule of thumb is to help the customer...duh. I bought the shoes anyways, but what could have easily been a less than 5 minute sale, turned into a wasted 15 minutes. I'm looking to see if they have the same shoes at sport check so that I can return them. read more
