I loved their peach lavender! I also got the Acai bowl, which is acai sorbet at the bottom and you can choose 3 toppings and a drizzle. I got the peach lavender ice cream instead of the açaí sorbet and fruit toppings with peanut butter drizzle and it was DELICIOUS! The 2 ladies there were super nice! And the 2 scoops that my 12 yr old got was ginormous! Their serving sizes are HUGE! The shopping mall is a little sketchy but the ice cream and people are nice. Will definitely come back if I'm ever in the area!

They're rich, creamy, and always hit the spot. Every visit reminds me why this is one of our go-to dessert places. That said, management should really pay attention to the customer service. Looking through the reviews, it's pretty clear that most of the 1-star ratings aren't about the ice cream, they're about poor customer service. The product is amazing, but better service would make the overall experience just as memorable. If you haven't been here yet, go try it for yourself. The ice cream is definitely worth it!

No one was behind the counter for greeting. We got our cups and at least 4 of the flavors I went to first were out. We managed to find others we liked, filled our cups and then waited and waited until I finally had to call out loudly over the stupid music for someone to ring us up. This girl came out and was very pleasant. Maybe she was in the back trying to replace yogurts that were out. If this was the case, then maybe you should have at least 2 employees there at a time. PS. After writing my review, I read some of the others. Seems the manager apologizes a lot but some things never change.

Worth Every Penny - Phenomenal Ice Cream & Fun Atmosphere!…read more The first time I ever tried Lappert's was out in Vegas, and I was hooked immediately. They were so generous with their portions for a surprisingly low price. I ordered a banana split back then, and they doubled every single scoop! On top of that, the ice cream quality is fantastic; it holds up great and doesn't melt into a soup right away. When I heard they opened a location right here in Redlands, CA, I knew we had to go check it out. The Redlands store did not disappoint! The tropical vibes inside are super fun, and the ice cream and treats are just as incredible as I remembered. We grabbed a loaded banana split and a Dole Whip dessert. They've got regular donuts, stuffed donuts, giant donuts - and all different flavors as well. I ended up with a giant chocolate glaze with sprinkles, a maple bacon bar, a blueberry stuffed, an apple pie stuffed, and a double chocolate. The double chocolate was stale - maybe it was a day old? Or a few days old? If so, I'd have liked to see better signage or perhaps a discount on it. Everything else was quite delicious! Everyone in my family had different favorites, which is probably a nod to their consistency in putting out good flavors. Service was quick and friendly, and it's a very casual place to enjoy a nice donut or five.

My sister goes in to pick up the cake and sees it is completely naked - not the birthday cake I ordered. Mind you, the cake she is picking up is for her birthday. She is met with someone named Adrian who proceeds to tell her there was a mix up. All their orders were canceled and my order was mixed up with the canceled orders. She asks how long it will take for him to decorate the cake the way I paid for it to be. He says 20-30 min- after I am already an hour later than I said I would pick it up. Zero other customers in the store. None. It is not our problem that your workers messed up and it doesn't change what I paid for. So she asks him for a discount since it isn't what I paid for. Adrian tells us he can't give us a discount on anything or a refund. My sister explains it's for her birthday and it isn't what we ordered. Adrian's reply: well it cuts the same and it tastes the same. Just WTF kind of answer and customer service is that?? Then as my sister leaves he proceeds to say: have fun with that! This location sucks. Spend your money somewhere else.
