The young woman who helped us was so kind and passionate about the business. It's Mexico family owned The prices are decent and the ingredients are fresh. My coffee I could tell right away the beans are amazingggg quality and when I asked, homegrown in Mexico. The berry lemonade I tried was absolutely delicious and tastes like fresh squeezed lemonade. I didn't get food, but my friends were sharing the boards at the table, I did however get a coffee. I got a pandan latte extra sweet! It was delicious, and they made it just as I desired. I love this somewhat floral notes that get added to beverages or desserts that use pandan in this had them. The espresso was also strong, which isn't always true when you're getting a latte. I see that they also have tea options. There's also a table near the order counter where people leave their business cards for different services, from legal to home maintenance. It's a unique brick-and-mortar spot on East Front Street that combines a specialized romance bookstore with a full coffee bar. I've read some of the books they have on display, and yes, they lean towards trashy romance, but they are enjoyable in their own way, distracting, and have a way of creating their own immersive universes. The espresso is well done, in terms of quality of ingredients and equipment. The founder as I understand it grew up learning to pull strong espresso from her Cuban father, and it shows. My only minor critique is that some baristas have occasionally put more milk in my cup than is standard for a traditional cappuccino. The shop has an approachable, blush-pink, and cozy curated feel with marble tabletops. The founder, Alma Sardas, is a first-generation UTA grad who majored in public relations and advertising and previously worked in the corporate communications sector. You can see that PR and branding background in the shop's aesthetics. While it tries to be kind of a "third space" for the community to unplug and connect over romance novels, the seating is truly at its best only when there are a few people. I feel like trying to read, talk, or work from here for too long when it gets busy wouldn't be ideal. Overall, it is a beautifully and thoughtfully designed little space that I'll continue to visit as long as they're around.

I don't know if it was to be alphabetical but then lost the plot when it came to series alignment. Just my little OCD qualm. I took pictures of a series that caught my eye. And I know this isn't the stores fault but I couldn't find the first book of any series !!! Frustrating !! But I would come back to try coffee (:
