Saturday, March 26th 2022 was the best day of my life.  I married the love of my life and our wedding day was beautifully seamless and our experience surpassed all expectations due to the wedding day coordination and sumptuous catering services provided by Roxanne DeHart and Foodwerx Caterers.  When my now husband and I discussed what our priorities were when it came to our wedding day, our number one priority was a no brainer: food and beverage.  My husband and I love to eat amazing food and most of our fondest memories involve enjoying an amazing meal!  Our wedding food and beverage had to be incredible and the decision was made to look for and hopefully secure a top catering company near Mt. Laurel, NJ for our wedding day.  A bit a research and abundantly positive Google and Yelp reviews brought me to Foodwerx Catering.  Along with their catering packages, Foodwerx offered the services of a day of coordinator, Roxanne.       Going with Foodwerx and utilizing the services of Roxanne was the best decision we made regarding our wedding day.  Roxanne's attention to detail, planning, timeline management, coordination of vendors, communication, vast experience, aesthetic, logistical expertise, and most importantly, warm and kind heart are everything a couple needs to ensure that their wedding event exceeds every expectation.  Every bump in the road or unexpected turn of events was handled calmly, promptly, and professionally.  Adding additional décor flourish to our reception area; she handled it.  Adjusting our timeline to ensure that our photographers got cake cutting shots before our contractual end time; she handled it.  Last minute realization that a generator was needed for the outdoor kitchen; she handled it. Simply put, she worked magic at every turn to ensure that we had the best day possible.     Now, the food.  There are almost no words for how incredibly the food was prepared, served, and how much our guests enjoyed.  Our families are not easy to please when it comes to food. Therefore, cookie cutter lukewarm generic wedding food was NOT AN OPTION for our day. Foodwerx surpassed all expectations by providing food that was scratch made on site, served hot and fresh, and was unbelievably flavorful and delicious.  I cannot begin to express how thankful I am for all of Roxanne and Foodwerx's tireless efforts.  Bottom line, if you are looking for an exemplary culinary and wedding day coordinating experience, look no further than Foodwerx!! read more

Less than impressed considering how much they hype their style, and service. I paid 12k and didn't get to eat the food from my wedding day. If I hadn't provided extra decor, presentation would have resembled that of any local buffet. My vendors complained about the timeline, and felt like the event was rushed. (And that was even before it started, so of course Murphy's law, it started late which made their timeline to accommodate their staffing that much worse) When pressed about it, the owner wanted us to take more time off work to meet with their staff about it. Uh, wtf? How about just apologize for not meeting expectations and not being able to fix our wedding day. I picked this vendor. I picked the menu. I paid for it. The only reason they get any stars is because our guests said that what they did get tasted good- but the portions were stingy and stations including dessert were not refilled. We didn't get our couple meal to go or our leftovers that we'd previously requested. We didn't get the wine we didn't use for our toast back. Their staff told my guests that they don't normally eat at events bc people always order the same things but our menu was different and they enjoyed our food. My mom saw their staff with trays of food to go, these same people claimed they gave that food to her. It was the most regrettable part of my wedding day/weekend since we had to return home to feed the guests we planned to leave the leftovers with. I, as the bride- spent 12k on this caterer and have no idea how the food at my wedding was and they didn't care enough to even apologize. Just a whole headache, and I should have called the other 2 preferred vendors at my venue. I could have paid a lot less and left with the same level of dissatisfaction. I had high hopes for future events with them, but clearly that won't be happening. Ps. Always check your final invoice against your original contract and any payments- a week before my wedding I had to send back the invoice several times and explain why it was wrong on multiple levels - how you gonna send someone a final bill (after deposits) where the amount due is higher than the original contract amount for the whole event. And have the nerve to insist that it is correct (it wasn't, it was all wrong) Just, ugh! Save yourself the headache and avoid! FYI- if you use them for a wedding, the bakery they use for the included wedding cake is way out in chestnut hill PA and they only serve pound cake. (It wasn't anything special) read more

The one employee that came and catered the entire party, Jessica, was absolutely wonderful. She was so kind to our staff and to every customer she encountered, and completed customer requests in a respectful and timely fashion. Wow! At every step in the process Foodwerx went out of its way to make our event a success. Alyssa was so helpful and responsive leading up to the event, even when I had to add things like trash pickup on the day before! At the event, leader Deb was a STAR. She went above and beyond almost every minute of the event to keep our guests happy and the party going. My daughter uses Foodwerx for her corporate clients & recommended them for her sister's Bridal Shower. Roxanne was fantastic, she made sure we had everything we needed to make the day a success. Our servers were attentive and efficient, and the food, it was amazing! All of our guests were raving about the food and many requested business cards for their future events. Alyssa and the team at Foodwerx could NOT have been more helpful in my desperate time of need. My husband and I decided to postpone our original big wedding plans for a small, intimate wedding in my parents backyard. Having worked professionally with Foodwerx in the past, I reached out to Alyssa; not only did they create a custom menu (matching exactly what we had originally planned), but at great pricing. She offered to handle all of the rentals as well, but I decided to do that on my own. I'm not going to lie, I was not very excited for this plan and stressing out every day. Little did I know, it was exactly what I wanted. The food was amazing (if you are debating on getting crab cakes... just do it, they were incredible), the displays were amazing, and the service was even better! I'll start off by saying the food was great at a recent catered event. I wish I could end there. A sight of a good catering service is that you're seen and not heard. However this group was heard all night long. Possibly two of the most rude waitstaff I've encountered. The exceptions were the bartender, youngest member and one of the servers of the crew. They represented what service should be. Examples of bad service: looking for utensils in the Kitchen as a guest, a member of the waitstaff rudely asked us to leave because we were in his way rather than asking if we needed any help. People talk and apparently we found this rudeness from other party attendees. Even though the food was great the service left a bad taste in our mouth. There was a great variety of appetizers and sandwiches! It was really unfortunate as the owner was not there. read more

We've done a few catering orders with Foodwerx. Delivery has been very reliable, even to highly confusing/complicated areas of a school campus. The food is delish. They have a fantastic assortment of sandwiches, wraps, salads, etc. that are ALL very tasty (ie. no leftovers). The cookie platter is loaded with yummy choices, and let's face it, when you see a chocolate covered strawberry on a cookie tray, its a good day. I give them four stars because they are a tad on the pricier end, even for the area. But, I'd definitely recommend using Foodwerx for catering. They're worth it! read more

Nick catered our engagement party on Saturday night 7/14/18 at the Ventnor Coffee House in Ventnor NJ. He was the best to work with. His Recommendations were spot on. His crew of 5 3 servers one chef and one bartender showed up on time and the set up was smooth as can be. During the party they were very informative about how everything was going and if everything was OK with us. The food was awesome. When looking for a caterer for our St. Patrick's day wedding finding someone who understood the concept that we were looking for was challenging. I came across Foodwerx and felt a bit of relief when seeing on the website that they specialize in fusion food. Irish cuisine is not necessarily known for the classiest of dishes, but it was a wedding and I wanted to carry on the theme of the day. I originally spoke with Nicholas who put together a wonderful family style menu for us. From there I went on to work with Shannon and Dawn. Both women were very helpful, accommodating and patient. Everything from linens, to utensils and servers was taken care of. That was a huge help considering that I was planning the wedding from across the country. The day of the wedding everything was set up beautifully. The staff was polite and efficient. The food was delicious! I cannot speak highly enough about the wonderful service we received from Foodwerx!! They were phenomenal!! I just held my 50th Birthday Party over the weekend. The food was beyond exceptional, and the staff was extremely accommodating! Roxanne was amazing!! Her planning and organizing of the party made it completely stress-free for me. She and the entire Foodwerx team worked so hard during the party to ensure that all our needs were met and that everyone was enjoying themselves. I held a baby shower yesterday for my daughter who is having identical twin baby girls. This is a very special event for our family and I could not have an ordinary baby shower. My sister-in-law, recommended Foodwerx and specifically Roxanne DeHart to help me plan and execute the event. It was one of the best pieces of advice I have ever received. From beginning to end, Roxannne was well beyond the ordinary. She met with me at the venue for initial planning. She listened to my vision and gave expert advice for the menu, venue set-up, decorations, and party help. For the next two months she stayed in touch with me refining every detail and getting back to me (sometimes instantaneously) whenever I had a question. Yesterday Roxanne was there making certain everything was nothing short of perfect and stayed well beyond what she should have to make sure the party flowed well. When Roxanne says "No worries" she means it. Nick, I want to personally thank you for the fabulous food and the first time customer complimentary pot-stickers. The food was absolutely delicious and exactly what I had had wanted. Melanie, our server, did a fantastic job making sure all of the party chores were done as I wanted and when I wanted. I recently got married and finding a good caterer in South Jersey was such a hassle (since I live in north Jersey). We were told about Foodwerks and saw their menu and were instantly excited. Thy had SO much to choose from. For our wedding, we wanted to do a bunch of passed appetizers but we also had a tight budget. I worked A LOT with Shannon, who was a huge help. She gave a bunch of options and then had us come in for the food tasting. As soon as we had the first bite, we knew they were the ones to cater our backyard wedding.
