Stopped in the tea room for lunch, which was served quite quickly. I had a chicken stew, which was pretty tasty, if rustic to look at. The chicken thigh had the bone left in, which may well have added to the flavour, but when served in a mini tureen was a bit awkward to eat. Despite a big blackboard outside proclaiming their fresh bread, the bread that accompanied the stew seemed very much like a normal slice of brown, which was a bit disappointing. read more
