I usually (make that always) choose the full English breakfast. At first, I found everything a little over-cooked; sausages and bacon dry, fried eggs with rock-hard yolks and the quality of the mushrooms leaving much to be desired. But that was a year ago.
Today things have changed for the better. My breakfast this morning was very good indeed. Sausages and bacon moist and tasty, but my egg yolks were a little on the hard side. That's a shame because in recent weeks they have been just as I like them. I get the feeling the inexperienced cook has been told to make sure everything is cooked thoroughly on some food hygiene course.
I hope they continue to improve and to listen to their customers. That's the way to improve and I really hope this place does. I'd love to change may rating to 5 stars. read more
