I recently discovered Savi's when looking for lunch in Leamington Spa. They sell a range of…read moresandwiches, cakes, pasties and drinks. The first thing you will notice is the range of amazing cakes in the window. There's a wide range of cakes from gluten free options, cream cakes to Portuguese custards. I enjoyed a very tasty panini and an even tastier chocolate malteser cake. So I would definitely recommend Savi's if you find yourself in Leamington and require something quick for lunch or want to treat yourself to some cake.

Adorable little tea house/cake shop/cafe in the centre of Warwick. Feels like you're in an…read moreeccentric grandpa's living room and you can tell he's spent aaaaaaall of his pension on a really good coffee machine and has just kind of let everything else go. But these are acceptable priorities and you know his heart is in the right place. I think this place is also a bakery/patisserie in its adjoined unit where it gets all its sweet stuff to also sell in the cafe. I originally went in for the cake as it looked so delish that I got romantic wobbly knees, but got swayed by the savoury. A little pricey for what it is, but in line with Warwick centre prices in general. Great selection of light lunchy bits and they have a soup of the day and a couple of deals to go with it. I went for the sausage and caramelised onion sandwich. Did the job. Caramelised onions always win me over. But it was so dry I had so much inside sadness. Good selection of hot drinks too! Such a smooth cappuccino, and quite a few tea options which I believe are provided by the Golden Monkey Tea company a couple doors down. Love a little sense of community! All in all, a great visit. Sad I felt too full for cake time but I'll definitely return for this

Smith Street can often be overlooked but is full of great little shops and bakeries such as this…read moreone. I stopped in here on a cake emergency and managed to secure three gorgeous slices. I picked up a coffee walnut, victoria sponge and a carrot cake. The slices were huge! While I didn't get to taste the coffee cafe (though my nan says it was great) the victoria sponge was light and fluffly and the cream filling was extremely tasty. While I'm not a huge fan of carrot cake I particularly liked this one. It contained nuts so had a nice cunchy taste to it. I can't speak about the coffee or other food on offer (there is a full menu) it was packed on Sunday morning so thats got to be a good sign. Next time I'm in Warwick I'll be stopping in for a coffee and I'll let you know how it goes.
