This food truck event is nicely tucked away in the Sea Bowl parking lot. On a foggy day, you might not be able to find it but I was lucky enough to go on a clear evening. It was advertised as the LAST Food Truck Strike, but I'm hoping it was just the last one of the season and not forever.
I got there about an hour after the trucks opened for business and the lines had little to no wait time. That was both awesome (insta-food!) and bad (over-splurge!). My group and I stopped at 4 out of the 8 trucks.
I'll close with a story of food truck camaraderie. I saw the guy from Koja Kitchen deliver several koja to the An the Go truck in exchange for garlic noodles. A food swap! Nice to see folks in the biz supporting and sharing each other's cuisine.
Fun location, minimal lines, good weather, and good eats! Food Truck Strike, I hope you'll strike again =) read more
