I'm used to shopping at the big suburban markets like Publix, and Kroger. When I first moved to Metter, I was skeptical that BI-Lo could match their prices and provide the variety I've come to appreciate. Boy was I wrong! BI-Lo's consistently met and exceeded all my expectations. They have a great selection throughout the store. As an example, recently, my dog needed hydrocortisone spray for a chronic itch she has on her paws. I tried Walmart (two locations) pet stores; everywhere. No one had it. On a whim I checked BI-Lo and they carried it! I find they have whatever I'm looking for, whether it's a great selection of high quality meats, comfort food like no-sugar added ice cream sandwiches or just the staples. I'm never disappointed. While their prices can be a little higher for some items, the discounts from their rewards/loyalty program seems to cover everything I buy. The real winner though is the customer service at Bi-Lo. The people who work there are wonderful! The cashier who was working this morning was the epitome of great customer service. Very friendly, efficient, well trained, and helpful. If you looked up customer service in the dictionary, there would be a picture of Cassandra. I usually don't get wowed by grocery stores. BI-Lo in Metter GA is the rare exception.

I only have a few issues but nothing major *I wish their store/and or selection of items available was larger. *I'm not a fan of the "rushed" check out process, throwing of the items into the cart with out regard. * I'm not at fan of the cart switching, I lug a lot in purse, list,phones, BAGS!, etc even more when I bring my kids (1 sits in the cart) so far I have been luckily enough to have cashiers see I have kids and not make me switch everything. That ended this weekend, I had my son who sits in the cart with me an our cashier just began throwing items into the other cart an rudely asked for MY cart. I had to stand there UNLOAD everything I brought in with me and switch. This is huge inconvenience for me and anyone waiting behind me. I was very disappointed in this trip to Aldi, first time I had a bad experience since they opened. I'll continue to go but I'll definitely be speaking up if I have my kiddos an asking for my cart to be used.

The person I talked to was pretty rude and then told me a delivery person was loading the order then. Nobody ever showed up. After.an hour I called the help line on the app and was told a delivery person was coming and should be there by 9:20pm. Nobody showed up. I ended up having to cancel the order. Thanks for the no groceries that I needed to make dinner and for tomorrow. If I hadn't been waiting all afternoon for a delivery I could have just gone to the store myself.
