I didn't go into the convenience store portion, I just used the gas pump for a fill-up. Unleaded gasoline was $2.19/gal when I went. The location is nice & conveniently located a little off the main road, closer to Trinity Valley Community College, a few small restaurants & coffee houses, & a park. The pumps take credit cards & are standard user-friendly. I'd come back here again! read more

All I've done so far is filled up on gasoline here. Prices aren't bad, maybe not as low as the prices at Murphy's across the street, but it's a lot more convenient to get in & out of the parking lot here than the Walmart parking lot across the street. I'd come here again.

It was $2.39 per gallon for unleaded gasoline, which was comparable to gas prices around town. I could easily use the screen out by the pump, & stay in my nice, warm car for most of the time. I'd stop here again if I'm ever in the neighborhood when I'm in need of a fuel-up!

We went as far as Lake Athens to the Athens Boathouse Bar and Grill (which we knew was closed), to check out the location. We tooled around Athens just enjoying the Sunday. Having been to the Fisheries and the Botanical Garden before, we were looking for a different place to stop. A quiet offbeat place with food and sweet treats was what I had in mind. Callaways Coffee and Bistro popped up as a little house with adorable photos and lovely reviews and off we went. It was perfect. They have REAL FOOD here. I tried to reproduce the menu, but seriously they have pages of breakfast, salads and sandwiches. And COFFEE, of course. I had this amazing 100% Angus patty Cheeseburger - an enormous perfectly cooked patty. ($9.95) My husband ordered the Ragun Cajun, a spicy Chicken breast on ciabatta that he loved. ($9.95) They still had pie, blondies, cookies and assorted yummy sweet treats under glass. I had the Buttermilk pie with a Tender crust and totally delicious filling! ($2.75) Our server was a terrific young man; personable, helpful and a good cook! We had a good time. The bathroom is Unisex and clean. There is plenty of seating. We sat at a regular dining table, but there are plenty of tables for two or three in addition to chairs and sofas. Most parking is street side. I'm looking forward to coming back!

I honestly could not eat it and my husband agreed that it had a chemical taste. The brownie with peanut butter top was ok. The brownie was dried out but, I think it was free. The cost was $28 for 2 sandwiches and the pudding I could not eat. Trying to be honest because other things on the menu may be awesome. We just would not order what we did again if we decide to give it another try. 3 stars because the club was ok and I did finish the chicken salad sandwich.

Service was prompt and patient when I couldn't make a decision. The lady seemed genuinely happy to be there and was very kind. 10 out of 10 recommend!
