Easy access being located right on a major US HWY. it's open 24/7 and has plenty of fuel pumps. I've never had an instance where the pumps weren't working or questioned the cleanliness of their filters. This store is locally owned by a family that has deep roots in the town. Inside is always clean. There is a large selection of wines both locally sourced as well as large national suppliers. There's also a candy wall of assorted by the lb candy, an ice cream bar that serves blue bell ice cream, and other prepared lunches and snacks. There are also the usual snacks sodas and beer in the cooler. Attached to the convenience store is a Whataburger. This is a busy location and has had some growing pains but that is a separate review. The Whataburger and convenience store share a bathroom. I typically find that the bathroom could stand to have a little attention, but certainly not the worst in town. I actually drive a little out of my way to visit this location. I think it's worth it.

Located just across the bridge on the way to Frankston in the tip of a wet county, Fat Dog's is a full service, well stocked liquor store full of friendly, fun employees and decent prices for the region. WHEN YOU GO- Being from California, I'm not used to the service level in this store. Fast, helpful employees will pull items off the shelf and meet you at the register if you come in knowing what you want. They'll even ice down your beer and carry it all to the car for you. The only thing they're missing IMO is a boat dock!
