When the restaurant was recently renovated, they managed to maintain the best of the "old" features and still to find improvements. Very friendly, competent service by the owner and his wife. Try the fantastic risotto and the scaloppine al marsala and you won't be disappointed. Lovely homemade italian desserts, gorgeous pasta, great gnocchi.

We left off the mushrooms and added prosciutto, and they charged us 20 francs, which seemed to be a pretty big price difference. There were other pizzas with prosciutto + another ingredient that were 18 francs, so I don't know...maybe arugula is a hot commodity. It sort of just seemed like she was tacking on charges for every ingredient, even though the arugula was already supposed to come included in the cost. ANYWAY, the food was fine, but we had just come from Italy, where you can get the same thing for 8 Euros. There aren't too many options on the menu, but what they do, they do well. My biggest qualm is that it isn't really worthy of a single $ here on Yelp. Like most other places in Switzerland, I would put it at 2 $$, and there are other options in Luzern with similar prices that might be more desirable.

These folks that work here just don't take making the food as a quality product, like other European cities do. Travelers, both local and foreign, keep the business flowing almost nonstop. Being that this is a train station location, I think these prices might be slightly higher than normal location.
