The selection of newspapers and magazines is very good. I've noticed newspapers from all over the world, reflecting the wealth of ethnic backrounds of local customers. There is also a large stand with greeting cards for all occasions. This shop is really a mix of newsagents and corner shop, selling all sorts of convenience foods. The prices are slightly higher than the local supermarkets, but the convenience of buying a pint of milk almost right on your doorstep is worth paying extra for, in my opinion. You can also get you tube/bus passes here. the bus stop is right in front of this shop, so a quick top-up of the Oyster card is more than convenient here.

In addition, packed into this small (but recently refurbished shop) is a cash point (which charges for withdrawals unfortunately) and a selection of magazines. I am not going to pretend that the magazine selection is great but it will have most of your typical selections - Hello, Grazia etc.

The outside windows are plastered with personal notices, about renting, personal trainers to men with vans. Once inside you realise that this is a small little store, yet crammed with everything you'd expect from a newsagents. The selection of daily news is good, and the magazine section fulfils the requirement of most but is short on some of the specialist covers. There is the usual horde of sweets, snacks, chocolate and soda. Special brownie points are scored for Oyster top ups and for Western union money transfers. M&M is a good convenience snack and news stop. It fulfils but does not excel in every requirement of a newsagent. Small but useful.

The newsagents itself is pretty standard, with all the usual magazines, newspapers, sweets, chocolate, crisps and drinks. And they always seem pretty friendly when they serve you.
