My experience with this dental office was extremely disappointing and unprofessional…read more Two weeks ago, I was seen for a painful dental issue and was told I had an infection. The office informed me that a prescription had been sent to Kaiser. After multiple calls to Kaiser, I was repeatedly told that no prescription had been received. I contacted the office several times and explained the problem. After two weeks of going back and forth while dealing with an infection, I became frustrated and told them over the phone that if I had to come to the office in person, I would be even more upset because nobody seemed to be addressing the issue. I ended up driving to the office twice trying to get the prescription resolved. When I spoke with Mike, instead of helping fix the problem, he told me, "Why don't you go get it in Tijuana?" I was shocked by that response. I had already been seen by their office, and I was simply trying to obtain the prescription that I had been told was sent weeks earlier. What made the situation even more upsetting was that when I mentioned I would be leaving a Yelp review about my experience, Mike immediately responded by saying he would report me to Medi-Cal. I told him, "Go ahead." I found that response inappropriate and upsetting. Patients should be able to share honest feedback about their experiences without feeling threatened. I fully acknowledge that I was frustrated. However, after two weeks of trying to obtain a prescription for an infection, multiple phone calls, and two trips to the office, I believe my frustration was understandable. If after so many attempts who would not be upset. So how many patients have you lied about because they report the service and threats. And yes I will go to a dentist in Tijuana thanks. The lack of follow-through, poor communication, dismissive attitude, and threats in response to criticism made this one of the worst customer service experiences I have had in a healthcare setting.

Then tell them we are going to charge you to fix all these problems all the while none of these things were true. How does a "Medical Professional with a license" get away with wanting to cause unnecessary pain to a patient just to make a buck and make an insurance claim? This is some dark and evil stuff. I knew I was being scammed right away because I am 43 years old and have never had a cavity. What kind of "Doctor" would drill into someone's perfectly healthy cavity free teeth just to make a buck? The answer to all these question is this Dentist and Office would do all these things! I was livid leaving this office with a quote for $2,500 when I knew I was being scammed. So I called my childhood Dentist to get a second opinion, who examined my teeth and gums, did not find one cavity or sign of gum disease. The just gave me a normal cleaning and confirmed what I had suspected, that these fraudsters were trying to take advantage of me. Well they messed with the wrong person... they have probably scammed many people before me and will probably continue to scam people after me, but maybe this review will be enough to warn people NOT to come here. One top of having the audacity to try to scam me, they wanted to charge me $35 to release my x-ray images to me. I am definitely going to report them to the Better Business Bureau. The office was well-run, appointments were on time, and communication felt clear and professional. Over time, after changes to the front desk staff, my experience began to shift. Wait times became consistently longer, and the overall organization of appointments felt less reliable. During one visit, a hygienist mentioned that certain areas of my enamel were weaker and adjusted her polishing approach accordingly. At a later appointment, during a cleaning performed by the owner, I was told that one of my teeth had chipped and was offered a repair "if I wanted to." There was no explanation of how this related to prior notes about enamel weakness, and I was left unclear as to whether this information was being tracked or consistently communicated between providers. The final issue that led me to leave the practice occurred when I arrived for an appointment, signed in, and waited for over an hour without being seen. At one point, it became apparent that I had been overlooked. When this was brought to the staff's attention, I was told that I "should have said something," and it was also suggested that where I chose to sit in the waiting room led staff to assume I was with another family who had arrived earlier. This was confusing to me, as I had signed in upon arrival and was present in the waiting area the entire time. At that point, I no longer felt confident in the office's internal processes or communication. I have since moved on to a different dental practice, where all my concerns were clearly explained and addressed. I'm beyond grateful I was able to find a new practice. I'm sharing this review not to criticize individuals, but to encourage patients to be mindful and proactive, particularly around appointment flow and communication. This office was excellent when I first began coming here, but my experience declined over time due to organizational and communication issues.

Amazing I freak out if u mention dental work in-front of me…read moreand I've been postponing for sooooo long just cz of how afraid i am. My sister came her first and she was so happy and then my parents started coming to this office too and i kept on hearing great feedback so i gave it a try and am super relieved. I did a root canal, deep cleaning and some fillings and surprisingly am not postponing anymore just cz of how comfortable they make me feel. At first i used to take oragel with me so that i numb my gum to limit the pain but now no more i don't even numb anything cz of how good the doctors are. I recommend them to my aunt and uncle and now the whole family comes here. It's a great experience overall, both doctors are amazing the front desk staff are patient, i change dates a lot and they always follow up. Thank youuuu for all the work u do
