Esteban installed a couple exterior doors for us about a year ago -- one side garage door, and one water heater door. Both had been beaten up by the elements, but Esteban installed some new, durable doors, including new trim. For the water heater door, it was an odd size, but he found a custom door that looks great. We have used Steve 3 times. He is on time and cleans up after he is done. He has moved electrical boxes for us, hung pictures and climbed the ladder to change or light bulbs. He does big jobs and little jobs. He even spent an hour in aladder vacuuming and washing our tall ledges and removed all items on ledges for us to dust and then he out them back. A few weeks ago I had Steve come out to give me an estimate for my two bathrooms that I needed finish remodel work in. He came to the house, took measurements and notes and assured that he would have an estimate within a day or two. I have to say, within the short time frame he had in his schedule, my girlfriend and I couldn't be more happier with the overall outcome. I'll start out with day 1 and his very detailed estimate that he proposed. That fact that he stuck to his word and sent me the estimate within the above-mentioned time frame, was definetly a good start. The estimate itself is what pulled me in to immediately think this guy might be the one for us. So, to keep a long story short, we went with Steve and had him do the proposed work along with additional work that needed to be done around the house. Stephen and his crew were amazing. We had recently bought a home and needed to get two bathrooms remodeled ASAP. He gave us a very detailed estimate so that we could clearly see what he was charging us for. In addition his attention to detail was very impressive. Sometimes it's the small things that make the most difference in how a person's work ethic is displayed. For example, one of the many things was when he installed our security door. He didn't simply install it; he paid attention to WHY we needed it (to keep out the bugs). So he found a way to effectively fill up any small holes he saw that were not taken care of by the door hardware; without charging us extra. I think the best part of his team's services was the follow-up after the work was done. He really took care of us, and ended up asking him to come back to make some additional improvements. read more

They were very conscientious in making sure that the area they would be doing the tile cutting etc. was taped off and existing pathways covered. Have had work completed in the past and was satisfied with work and cost. Contacted Fonseca Handiwork recently for a list of minor repairs and scheduled an appointment date. I realized appointment date conflicted with work and called and sent text to reschedule for the following day. Received no response. Called and sent second text message, again no response. Needless to say, no one showed up on either date. Very unprofessional to not return calls and/or text messages. If jobs to be completed were to small I should have been informed of this and no appointment would have been scheduled, so I could have looked elsewhere for repair services. Very irresponsible and unprofessional, a text message would have been sufficient. Needless to say will not be contacting again. read more

Update...Initially I was very pleased with Steve. However I should have stuck to my initial practice of not writing Yelp reviews but he asked me to and since I was pleased with his work I did. Since then Steve did not and has not finished some issues with an electrical and plumbing job he performed for me. Also he has quartz I paid for that he has not returned. What I've surmised is if it doesn't involve a large payday for him he's not as reliable as I initially thought. Food for thought... read more
