Prepare to do a lot of walking especially if you have smaller children with you. Indoor activities, animals and rides also onsite which is handy with unpredictable Welsh weather. A great day out for the kids! Folly farm is huge, so get there early! The farm itself is huge, so make sure you have a pushchair for little ones, as they may get tired. As well as the animals, there is a petting hut where children can hold and stroke the bunnies and guinea pigs, and also there a smaller animals and insects to be seen here. The Spider stands out in my memory! There are sandpits with diggers, outdoor adventure playgrounds, indoor soft play areas, and an indoor 'fairground' complete with Merry go Round. Also a Helter Skelter (my sons favourite!) and a Ferris wheel. There is so much to do you will have to make another visit! read more

I love Folly Farm, any time we are in the area me and my family always pay a visit here. Feeding the lambs is great fun, if a little hectic and the little ones always have a giggle. Folly Farm is an ideal family day out on a good weather day. The zoo was refreshingly well laid out - it felt modern and spacious both for the visitors and the inmates. This place is big - you will need all day to get round it and also round the huge gift shop. Top tip: pick up a packed lunch at the bakery next to the shell garage nearby. The rolls, sausage rolls, pies and pasties are great value and will save you a fortune on food inside the venue. read more

I have a 9 year old and a 12 year old and both love going here! The 12 year old and her friend wandered around together and i felt it was safe enough for them to do that here. The park is great and the animals are fantastic - there's always lots going on - even out of season! We have spent a few days out here and enjoyed it everytime! There's lots to do, even when the weather is bad. I totally recommend a visit here! Taking a picnic is a great way to cut down on costs as it can be an expensive day out and the food at the facilities isn't all that great and the pub/restaurant feels a little grubby. The indoor funfair can be a little pricey too as it works by tokens (50p a token) and the rides are 1 or 2 tokens per person per ride. It all adds up when you have a few children with you. A new addition to Folly Farm is the giraffes - wow! Amazing creatures. read more

Folly Farm is situated in the heart of Pembrokeshire and is one of the biggest family attractions in Wales. Folly Farm is well spaced out so even if you go when its busy you wont be tripping up over everyone. As there is a lot for the children to do they wont easily get bored! read more

Really good day out for all the family, with loads of different animals to see and feed. They have regular demonstrations and activities suitable for all ages. There is a undercover vintage fairground and more up to date rides outside, a young childrens soft play area and an indoor park. Folly Farm is now absolutely huge! It is a full day out for the kids so it's worth taking a buggy for younger children. I remember going here when I was young myself and got to milk a cow! There is an indoor fair with traditional rides such as merry go round, ferris wheel and a helter skelter. The petting zoo is great for younger children as they get to hold, touch and feed the animals. Folly Farm is a fantastic day out and over the years ive seen this place really grow. It has its own petting zoo for younger children to feed the lambs and even a zoo with exotic animals. Tractor rides are also great fun as well as jumping in the hay barn, milking cows and the fair ground. This place is fantastic and well worth every penny, you really could spend all day here and not what to go at the end of it. It is great for all ages, we have been with the kids and on our own. This is said to be a four-in-one day out, You can have hands on experience with the animals which is always a real treat especially when the baby lambs are born , watch cows being milked - and have a go yourself! There are falconry demonstrations, massive play areas, an undercover vintage fun fair, trailer rides, go-karts, farm museum, zoo, nature centre, shop and restaurant. This place has expanded time and time again over the years and each time I feel it gets better. Firstly it is easy to find with lots of parking. It isnt hugely expensive to take a family here (entry wise) although it can add up with paying for the rides in the old funfair. We always used to take a picnic with us, instead of buying as food can be a bit expensive and had a limited menu. There is enough to do here all day and the kids never got bored. Goat feeding is always a hit as is the old funfair. The walk around the zoo is good too. I would definately recommend this as an excellent family day out for those with young children. read more

We went here as a family during a holiday stay. As soon as we arrived we noticed on how organised it was by having 2 seperate queues for cash or credit card payers (cash queue was quicker) which was a great idea. The park itself is large with plenty of activities for the children (and adults), my 2 loved the large adventure playground pirate ships amongst the other things that were available. It was nice to see the animals roaming in large fields/paddocks and you must see the giraffes that they now have there as they were magnificent. There is a large enclosed area which holds a large traditional fairground which you purchase tokens for, also there is a very big indoor play area with huge treehouss, slides etc. I would take a picnic if you can as although there was food available, we found the queues to be very long and in one area they had sold out of food by 1.30pm. This is a nice farm park however I would say it is more for kids than adults. Lots of rides etc for children to play on. Animals are very nice and they look clean, healthy and happy. Unfortunately when we went we where a week to early from the penguin encloure opening but we could see it and the penguins from a distance. It looked nice and the penguins looked very happy swimming around. Especially like the girraffe ledge as they can come right up to you so you are face on face with them and sometimes they will let you stroke them on their head if you are lucky. Throughout certain times of the day in the farm yard barn area you can hold a rat, milk a goat etc unfortunately I missed out milking a goat, would of loved to of done that. Check the times on board in barn. Board could be bigger as we missed out. read more

Folly farm is an ideal day out for parents with younger children. It boasts a massive indoor play area which is well worth the money alone and the indoor fair is a really fun enviroment. Save up your two pences for the penny pushers or ride on the old fashioned carosel. Food is reasonably priced although I always take a picnic for which there is an abundance of picnic tables. The park is well kept and maintained and clean. Staff are friendly and helpful. Its well worth feeding the goats and visiting Jolly theatre to see the ultraviolet jugglestruck show. Everytime we have visited we have stayed the entire day and never run out of things to do and the best thing is if it is raining it is still an excellent place to be. read more

what a brilliant place. it came form humble beginnings of just a farm, with a few animals you could feed, and hay barn you could jump in, but it is now amazing, with park rides, and so many unusual animals. kids of all ages love it,... myself and my 2 year old niece think its the bees knees! Great place, you can feed baby goats with a bottle of milk in the barn. Fun for everybody of any age, theres a park and a helter skelter.

We have only just got round to visiting Folly Farm, despite it being quite close to home. We were pleasantly surprised. There is so much to do there and it includes farm animals, a zoo (now with the only Giraffes in Wales!), an indoor funfair which is lovely, indoor play areas, soft play and an adventure playground and lots to do outdoors including working tractors to play on, a large sand pit and many play areas. The shop is very large and the eating places are clean and value for money. read more

The whole family loves this place, can easily spend a whole day here and still not do everything. We've been here more times than I care to remember and it gets bigger and better every time. There really is something for everyone and even if he weather is bad there are enough things to do inside, though obviously it gets busy inside on wet days. Kids love the animals, the new(ish) wooden indoor play area and the old time funfair. We normally take a packed lunch and find one of the many picnic tables to have lunch but I don't think the food is that expensive either. The staff are normally very helpful. read more
