Meet the Business Owner: Lorin B.
Lorin is Folklore Botanical's founder and landscape designer in Grand Rapids. She originally hails from Ohio, where as a kid she spent lots of time in the family's garden alongside her parents. She has lived in Colorado, California, Texas, and now calls Michigan her home. During her travels, she expanded her experience in the landscape industry by working as an estate gardener, nursery specialist, project manager and successful business owner. Living, studying and working in such diverse ecoregions helped hone her unique design style.
Lorin brings a diverse skill set to Folklore Botanical, where she manages the business, blogs, designs, and oversees maintenance and installations.
In Lorin's free time you can find her foraging for edible wild plants, playing in her gardens, spending time with family, nerding out over a new seed catalog or visiting botanical gardens.
