Called in a takeout order for two lunch specials -- one General Tso's Chicken and one Chicken with Eggplant. (Both rated as spicy). Both came with vegetable fried rice, wonton soup, crispy noodles, and fortune cookies. The order was packed, and ready when we arrived less than 15 minutes later. Food was still warm and tasty when we arrived home a few minutes later. We. would've preferred more vegetables and some more spice, but overall it was good. Quantities were also good. read more

As soon as I walked in all I smelled was their fishtank. Im sure it's beautiful but dear God please clean it!! I couldn't wait to get out of there. read more

Last week ordered food to go got home wrong food. Too far to drive back and didn't even attempt to call and complain cause that probably just wouldn't go well. I got hot and sour soup today and it was mostly liquid. Not much in it. They used to be very good. I don't know what's happening there. read more

I've eaten here a lot while on a work trip and the food is great and is ready quick. If I'm back I'll always eat here.

This place is not a 5 star because they mess up a lot!! Sometimes you ask for steamed broccoli they put some kind of sauce on it. You ask for it hot/spicy it never comes that way. Stuff like that is the only reason it does not get a five with me. other than that, the food is good they give you a pretty good portion and it's not too expensive. It's average. They are expanding and putting in seating.!! Maybe when they do and you ask for something spicy, you actually get it spicy!!! ?? read more

The food is ok. The service is not so great. Every time I go there something irritates me. This last visit will be my last time.

Love this restaurant. Always make great food at a reasonable price. Friendly staff as well. Food is always made in a timely fashion with generous portions. read more

My rating would be 2.5 stars but I'm rounding to 3 for the quick take out service and the friendly staff. We ordered for take out: 3 egg rolls 2/5 1 pork with snow peas 3/5 1 beef with mushrooms 3/5 1 Hunan style pork with vegetables 2/5 I thought the oil was old with the fried egg rolls and didn't have the flavor it should. The two others who ate the same thing liked them. All three entrées were very heavy with vegetables in proportion to meat. It would have been more accurate to describe the dishes as snow peas with pork, mushrooms with..., etc. The Hunan pork was good but it could have been much spicier--I specified very spicy--and it could have used less hot oil flavoring. Instead of using red pepper flakes or dried red peppers, they used the seasoned hot oil and it made the dish very oily/greasy. The woman gave us a cloth wall calendar as a New Year's gift. The staff was very pleasant. I guess I'm spoiled by living in a city that has a thriving Asian community with our Chinatown. This will have to do until I get back where I belong. read more

I hate to say but I ordered 5 things. Cuz I wasn't sure if anything be good. And I was right! The only thing that was good were the fried dumplings. Very good. The other stuff I literally couldn't eat- shrimp with lobster, egg drop soup, the egg roll I didn't even want to try, chicken lo mein. I literally had my hotel pick up to throw away for me. I was like front desk- please come throw away this all for me like now. And they did. The dumplings were good though lol. I would pick Great Wall in Carbondale over here. I still feel just ehh. Maybe was the shrimp with lobster sauce. Idk. It was mush. Its always my go to at other Chinese restaurants, and it was just off. Maybe a bad night for them idk. But I can't even think of going back there. read more

The foliage is always a great choice for food when you're hungry. It's definitely been a staple in our community for many years. I'd choose this restaurant over any Chinese Restaurant in our area. read more

So good! It's been a couple weeks since we ordered and I'm actually craving the cold sesame noodles right now. It's been a long time since I've seen a Chinese restaurant that still serves duck! Delivery is always prompt and online ordering is easy. read more

Love this place. We eat there often and will continue to return as often as we are able.

Expensive for the little amount of food they give and was not as good as the other local Chinese. Don't waste your time or money on this place. read more

I used to order from here exclusively, and I never had a problem. I sent everyone I could their way, as this was the best Chinese food in town. Last night, my husband and I ordered and received our food at 9pm soggy and cold. We had to call the restaurant three times to find out if the driver even left, and we even gave them the courtesy of meeting the driver at the end of our driveway so he wouldn't have to be cold or risk getting stuck or falling on ice. Our food was late and gross, and we had work at 6am. So, we tossed the food and opted to call the next day after work. We called today, only to be told that they would not replace the order because they wanted their soggy, disgusting food back before they'd replace the order. They offered me 50% off, with no guarantee that my food wouldn't turn up like this again. If I had brought the food back, it would have been even more disgusting and would have provided zero evidence of my experience anyway. So, I tossed it before my cats even ate it. Disgusting business practices and the owner should be ashamed of how cheap they are and how terribly this place was run. I was told this was my problem. Never again will I order from these nasty people, and I'll make sure my experiences are known and those I have sent will not return. read more

They served me and my husband old food over the weekend and I'm pregnant so I can't eat old food or I could obviously get sick and so could the baby but they didn't consider that. Our food was rock hard a dog couldn't even chew it. All so they could keep up with the weekend rush but that's not ok. read more

The best Chinese food in Carbondale! Everything from here is delicious. They have a great mid day lunch special as well.

First time, takeout, food was excellent! Hot and sour soup, shrimp with mixed vegetables, chicken with broccoli and brown rice, all delicious. Great price too. Definitely will be back! read more

Dont go! Rude staff, below mediocre chinese food. My husband ordered lobster fried rice and when he came home to eat it, it was imitation crab. He returned it to them and the lady behind the counter told him not to order from them anymore. She also lied and said it was " small lobster " then said it was " crab ".... why lie about the ingredients? Don't advertise " lobster " when you are giving people imitation crab meat!!!!! Other chinese places give lobster. Just don't order from here. Their wontons taste like crap too. read more

It use to be a lot better. Still the best in the area so if I really feel like Chinese, I order from here.

Excellent food. The best Chinese food I had so far. The service is fast the food will be ready when you come pick it up most of the time. It's really fast just go in and leave in about 1 min if theres no other person. The food taste better when I dine in probably because it's just cooked . read more
