They were polite and professional, explaining every step of the work as it was being done. The tree removal was performed quickly and safely. The trees were mulched afterward; and I was asked whether I wanted to keep the mulch, which I did. Catamount even cleaned up the fallen leaves after the trees were removed. I was very pleased with their work. I highly recommend Catamount Tree Service. I'm sure I will be calling them again.

A couple of years ago, we hired Catamount Tree Service to remove a few large, compromised trees in our yard that were threatening one of our cabins, and we were so happy with Justin's abilities and expertise on that job that we called him to give us an estimate on removing trees on either either side of the driveway to "clean it up" and widen the road for the trucks. He and his helper Sam spent a week on the driveway taking down trees, clearing brush, and delivering wood chips to our yard for my husband to use as mulch around his apple trees and in the garden. They worked their butts off for five days and finished the job by the end of the week, as promised. Yesterday our contractor came over to meet with us and the solar guy about the project, and both of them were blown away by what Justin and Sam had accomplished. The contractor isn't worried at all now about the transport of construction materials down the driveway. Not only are Justin and his crew nice young men who are sincere, hard-working, and professional, they're also fun to hang out with. My husband brews beer, so after the job wrapped on Friday we had them in for a brew sampling, and we had a great visit. We can't say enough about how pleased we are with Justin and Catamount Tree Service!

Don't waste your time with this contractor. I tried twice to have them come to assess and quote my…read moreproject and no one showed up or even bothered to call. The first time I sent them a text 20 minutes after they were expected to arrive. They replied "We ain't going to be able to make it." No apologies, no phone calls. I rescheduled the appointment to another time a few days later which they agreed would work for them. My wife drove 3-1/2 hours to get to the property and meet with them, arriving with our guests and 2 dogs 2 hours ahead of the agreed meeting time. Again, they failed to show up or call to say they weren't coming. After waiting for 45 minutes we tried to call to see if they were coming but couldn't connect as their phone wasn't 'set up' and couldn't accept calls or voicemail!!! I sent them a text to try to find out what the story was. They replied and said they came and nobody was home, further clarified that they aren't interested in any job under$3500, having no idea the scope of my project! There were 2 cars, 4 adults and 2 dogs at the house. They could not have been missed if in fact they came. Further, even if they had come and thought nobody was there why didn't they simply call? They had my phone number. Also, there was no sign of them on any of the security cameras. Bottom line: this contractor is clearly unreliable, and dishonest. Perhaps a scam? Beware!
