There was a long line to get food with salad, hot dishes, and meats. I only wanted the meats, and the grill master was standing there without serving anyone. I took my to-go box and went to get some meat. He told me I needed to get in line. I even mentioned that I only wanted meat. I asked the cashier if I needed to go through the entire line, and she said no, that he could serve me right after the woman who had just started getting her meat. At that point, I decided not to get anything else. The grill master's role is to serve meat, not to direct people on which line to join. If he wasn't busy and I only wanted meat, I didn't see why I had to wait in a line for all the other foods. I left and went to the Brazilian Grill, where at least the staff is more polite, and the food is even better. read more

Well the hubs was craving Brazilian so I of course gave in. He had been wanting to try this place for awhile. The service was good. The food wasn't bad and the kid (I say kid because I'm old) working the grill tried his best to get me rare meat. (The Brazilian have a tendancy to overcook the meat). The hot bar was ok. We found this little spot while in the cape and thought it looked good. We thought wrong. After being told to seat ourselves we got these white paper slips to check off what we wanted. I was particularly confused over the all you can eat pick three meats. If all you can eat why can't we try them all? So I ask the waitress when she finally came to the table. It took them 23 minutes to even come to the table to check on us for a drink order. I Ask her what does that mean and she said that's for takeout only. So then we got all you can eat and she took the slips but they only gave us what we checked off which was not everything. On the slip it said potatoes and onions, I thought that meant some kind of hash. It was over cooked frozen fries and onion rings. Wicked gross and cold. The rice was semi-OK the beans were blah, the mashed potatoes were pretty creamy and yummy. The yucca was not cooked at all. As for the meats the only edible meat was the chicken wing. Everything else was so dry and burnt you couldn't chew through it. Our drinks took almost an hour to come. I actually had to get up and ask the waitress for waters. Not once had any of the five staff checked on us about the food or if we wanted anything else hence all you can eat. The only time our waitress came to the table was when I asked for the check other than that we had a different person every time we had a question. Decent hole in the wall spot with attentive staff. We came on a Saturday & it was pay by the pound. $10 for the buffet & $13 for buffet with bbq meat. Sunday through Friday is apparently all you can eat for a flat rate (like $15 buffet & $20 buffet bbq), which would be a better deal. The buffet had a selection of beef, sausage, chicken thighs, fish, rice, beans & vegetables. If you get the yellow rice with sausage, put the "vinaigrette" pico on top! Yum. read more

This place was fun!! I didn't eat, but both nights I went there was karaoke or singing on the patio. The drinks were delicious. I had strawberry margarita with real crushed strawberries, unlike other places I've been to. The people were so friendly. If you are in the area, you should make a visit to this place. read more

Brazilian BBQ can be really expensive so when we found this restaurant near Gol Supermarket we were happy with the prices. This restaurant serves food by weight which is great for people like myself who can't pile in a ton of food at once. The buffet food is your basic Brazilian cuisine and the BBQ component is an added cost. The food itself was decent, I wouldn't say the best Brazilian BBQ I have had, but it totally hit the spot. The meat selection was good but a bit salty for my liking. Pros: interesting food choices and so much variety of meats and sides. Also salad options too.. I like the fact that you could weigh the food you select so you get what you pay for essentially. Clean tables and eating areas. Also very clean bathrooms. Cons: We walked in for the first time and the women at the cash register just stared at us for a good 30 seconds. No hello, no good afternoon, not even a smile. Just staring then looking back and forth with the other lady who was just standing there saying nothing. Finally after the awkward silence we told them we'd like to have a table for lunch. Still staring like we were from Mars, the woman in clipped annoyed tones explained to us how their process worked. Huh. I wanted to leave immediately but decided against my better judgement and stayed. The food was okay not awful but not phenomenal either. I expected so much more as there was a lot of variety. Conclusion: I didn't feel like a welcome customer and was disappointed with the service. I hate to be like this but I think they were judgemental and if I were brazillian I may have had a better experience which shouldn't be the case.. I am so excited we discovered this gem. We decided to go to the supermarket in the same parking lot because we thought they had hot Brazilian food and were disappointed that they only had a bakery and were consequently craving Brazilian rodizio. One of our favorite things about NJ And what we miss the most is access to small local authentic food like Brazilian rodizio. We were looking on yelp and found nothing but spotted something in the parking lot and decided to go inside. Bingo! Exactly what we have been missing and hoping for on the cape. It was authentic, everyone spoke Portuguese , clean, looked new, buffet style with the option of rodizio and you weigh your plate to be charged by the pound. Also, inexpensive! Seriously a gem and we were smiling from ear to ear about this discovery. The food was amazing! Salads, rice and beans, pasta, braised beef and roasted chicken also offered in the buffet. My boyfriend and I had 2 full plates, only he did rodizio plus a drink was all just $20. Woohoo! Even though we live about 25 minutes away, we will most definitely be regulars and hope this doesn't ever lose it's authenticity or low prices and deliciousness. read more

The price is awesome compared to the competitor on Main Street. With a cheaper price, I guess you have to expect lower quality though. I went in for take out lunch. Buffet style and you grab what you want. Walked out with a good amount of food and a soda for ~$13. The sausage was undercooked, the chicken wrapped in bacon was so dry (extremely overcooked) that I couldn't even bite it! It didn't help that the gentleman serving the meat couldn't speak English one bit, or at least it seemed. In all, not a bad place for a quick bite to eat. Well I don't know where to start. The food is supposed to be by weight and my plate had maybe 3/4lb and I was charged for 2lbs, I think you pay for he weight of the plate. When I got my check I saw that the gratuity is automatic included on the bill and it's 20% but you serve yourself. When I got the receipt there was another option to tip... why? You serve yourself!!! The food was ok. The meat variety was 4 choices only and the " filet mignon" was dry and tough like I have never seen before. The place was clean and the soda was cold! I am glad we found this place on the Cape. Sometimes, you get tired of seafood and this provides a nice change of pace. Food here is quite good. They have the Brazilian buffet with a lot of good items and of course, the churasco. I particularly enjoyed the stroganoff. Desserts are good. They even have chocolate flan, which I've never had before. They even have a bar in back, which was kind of dead when we got there, as it was around lunch time, but apparently is quite busy at night. Staff was very friendly. Unlike a lot of these "pay by the pound" Brazilian places, they serve on china, no plastic, so you will take a small hit that way, but it was worth it in my opinion. For the food i will give 5 stars all the way, but i was pretty disappointed by the parking lot which is very difficult to park and get out. Very tasty Brazilian BBQ in an interesting buffet style. From the salad bar to all the different types of meat on the grill, everything was great! Very disappointing. Almost everything was dry except for 2 things. We even came at noon time thinking everything would be fresh and delicious, however that wasn't the case. When we complained to our waiter about our bacon wrapped chicken which was SO dry it was inedible he did go and get us some new pieces which were still dry but not as terrible. Since the cooks and our waiter were nice we still plan on coming back for their dinner service to give them a chance,but the cashier and manager had the look like they were completely unapproachable. The flavors were good and the place was clean. We will post an update on our second experience for their dinner service. read more
