12/10/2026 We were a party of 5. Fantastic atmosphere. Clean and inviting. The staff was cheerful and helpful. We had Nachos/ Quesadilla/ Burrito Bowl and Tacos. FRESH, FRESH as can be. The side sauces (which you help yourself to) were specifically different and not just a hot, hotter, hottest version of the same thing. Plenty of chicken in the fresh quesadilla and lots of cheese throughout the nachos. We appreciated the quality paper napkin roll-ups available and the sodas we chose both unique and standard fare were chilled. We ended it with (thank you) Fried ice cream and Churros. The ice cream and coconut was unusual and refreshing and the chocolate with the churros was sweet and smooth. PERFECTION. We will be back again...and again. We are now 5 fans! read more

Used to live in California and their food is the closest to quality Mexican food you can find on the East Coast. So surprising to find in Falmouth. Location-wise, it's a bit removed from the cute downtown area but the decor inside is quite nice. It honestly feels like a step up from your typical fast casual spot (a premium and more hip Chipotle). We had the California burrito, the pollo elote tacos, and a kids quesadilla. Everyone loved their food! I also enjoyed a Dos Equis on tap while I waited and it was a great move. Worth checking out if you're in the mood for quality Mexican and in the area! read more

Everything you love about Anejo, in a sleeker quick service space. The menu is comparable to their big sister restaurant, with some more casual options like hot dogs and tortas. They do serve alcohol as well, the margaritas are a must, they have them on tap and even canned to go as well. The space is beautiful, very clean, and has a decent amount of seating. You order at the front and food is brought out to you as it's ready. Everything I've had here is fresh and tasty, nachos have lots of toppings already and you can add a protein for extra. Great location, there is parking out front and it's a quick walk from downtown. read more

I seldom leave reviews, but I had a real drag of an experience here. The servers ignored us for around five minutes until finally someone came over, despite other servers passing by us several times (and utterly ignoring us, making us feel invisible). It wasn't slammed (and I've worked in a restaurant, so I know the importance of urgency). Saw the staff on their phones and hanging out in the kitchen, doing anything but acknowledging us, over and over again. Like, you can at least say hello or "someone will be with you shortly." Nada. Just couldn't be bothered. When the food came, no one checked in, asked how it was, or asked if we needed anything, etc. We waited around with our empty trays for a while too, then asked for the bill, but the guy had to chat with his friend and had to be waved down. I've had great experiences here; the food is excellent, but the staff really dropped the ball all night. Just completely indifferent. It was one of the few times I felt inclined to give no tip, because there was virtually no service. Hopefully the staff can pretend like they care next time and not like they're on Ambien or we just shot their dog, as it seemed like we did something to wrong them. Majorly Disappointed. read more

Food was DELICIOUS, it's a quick service Mexican restaurant with the option to sit down if you'd like. The girl at the counter was nice, I ended up getting 3 Pollo Elote tacos to go and the to-go box was so creative with little taco slots that were well presented. They even had spicy sauces (verde, roja, habanero) you could add, as well as wipes at the counter? Really cool addition considering my hands get messy. We have been traveling as a family of 6 for two weeks having to eat out a lot. We came across Taco Blanco and it was the best experience we had this whole trip. Came here for a lunch break, bro the food is great, a little on the expensive side though. Lots to choose from the menu. Ordered takeout online for a taco salad with chicken . Order was ready ahead of time with silverware and 1/2 eco friendly packaging . Pick up was easy. All very tasty but the cilantro-lime dressing coats the lettuce like coleslaw. Wish it had more veggies and an option for double meat. I'll be back for more. read more

I must be the only person on the Upper Cape who has not gone to the original restaurant Anejo in Falmouth. I have only heard good things. So when a relative mentioned that there was a sister restaurant called Taco Blanco and the food was terrific, we decided to check it out. We ordered three items to take out. The cost was in excess of 40 dollars so expectations were very high. The food tastes good and is flavorful. The size of the portions in relation to the cost was not comparable. First there was the Main Street Corn at $9. The corn was about a cup of kernels with some good flavor. The second was the Blanco Burrito with Carne Asada at $16 and the size was more in line with what you might anticipate for $12. The third item was the Sweet Potato Tostada listed under the salads. The cost was $15 and the size was underwhelming for what could have been a dinner salad by price. Picture a flat small crisp taco shell with a small quantity of items and very limited arugula. I didn't want to tank this restaurant's ratings but I was underwhelmed. Taste of food 4/5, quantity of food 3/5. Value for the dollar 3/5. read more

The restaurant was extremely clean. The food was not exactly plentiful nor was it warm. In most Mexican restaurants the chips and salsa are complimentary. Not here. $4.25 each for a soda and water is pretty pricey. $40.00 later for the drinks, chips and salsa, a chimichanga, and what appeared to be two mini opened faced tacos, we left with no desire to go back or recommend this place to our friends. read more

Being honest...who puts french fries in a chimichanga or anything? They call it roasted potatoes which I thought was weird. But it was terrible. Tacos were OK but small. Quesadilla was overly salty. Well , it took us awhile to get here but it was worth the wait . This place is great . Bright and clean inside and the food is tasty . I got a burrito with pork which was terrific and my husband got 2 tacos that he said were great . Get 2 since they are a little small . He said the fish taco was the best he has ever had . Highly recommend! Enchilada verde with braised beef was excellent. Carne asada taco was very good. This was takeout but also nice place to eat-in, less formal that Añejo (same owner). Super clean and people were nice. read more

All Anejo take out now directs to Taco Blanco. Food is pretty much the same, but for some reason didn't taste as good to me. Also, the free chips and salsa that you used to get with Anejo take out are now gone! That was one of the best parts, and now just makes it expensive take out. Taco Blanco (870 Main Street, Falmouth), the three and a half week old "baby" sister restaurant of Anejo Mexican Bistro in Falmouth (and Hyannis), was a surprisingly pleasant dining experience this evening. In the interest of full disclosure, before moving to the Cape full time a few years ago, my wife and I spent nearly four decades living in Southern California which is a wonderland of regional Mexican food. We've never had a Mexican meal on the Cape which we found even remotely authentic in terms of taste (admittedly, we have yet to dine at Anejo--which now looks much more appealing since dining at Taco Blanco this evening). With respect, most Mexican places on the Cape either offer an upscale version of what you might get at a Taco Bell or Dell Taco or some mild tasting version of what is known as Tex-Mex cuisine. (We have found some very authentic Mexican cuisine at restaurants in New Bedford and Providence--worth a drive if you crave that taste.) Taco Blanco is clearly MUCH better than most usual Mexican fare offered on Cape. First, Taco Blanco is absolutely spotless. You order at the front counter, pay (including a tip before you've been served or have even tasted the food--not a big fan of this, but it's a product of the POS technology now being used at many places), then sit down. I sat, solo, at the bar. If you sit in one of the booths they call your name and you get up to retrieve your order. Second, I ordered three tacos--carnitas (pork), pollo elotes (chicken and roasted corn), and birria (slow cooked beef)--and a side of red rice and refried beans (because I wanted to sample these--they are the carb backbone of any Mexican restaurant). The carnitas and birria tacos were totally legit, spot on in terms of flavor. All the tacos came with a thin salsa appropriate to the protein, cilantro, chopped white onion, and a sprinkle of cotija cheese. The chicken and roasted corn taco was a tad on the dry side, but still within the range of acceptability. The beans were just shy of being very good (probably because they were not made with lard and finely chopped onion); the red rice was acceptable, though it was not as flavorful as it could have been with better seasoning). Better still, the tortillas are made in house and they are fantastic. So delicious. My one quibble here is that the tortillas were a tad on the greasy side. Usually tortillas for street tacos are dry heated on a griddle or comal. The tortiallas for tacos at Taco Blanco are dipped in a sauce--as one would properly when making an enchiladas--and then put on the grill. This method of preparation leaves them a bit greasy. A minor quibble certainly because the taste of the tortillas were first-rate. Unfortunately, the options for taco fillings (and other preparations on the menu) are rather limited compared to what you might find at any standard Taqueria or Tortilleria in Mexico, Southern California or even Chicago, Phoenix, Providence or New Bedford. Missing are items like lengua (tongue), chicharrones (pork skin), birria (which is often goat as well as beef), barbacoa (shredded beef), or tripas (fried or grilled tripe, aka stomach). But I get it, this is the Cape. People come here to dine on scallops not stomach. lol Still, there are enough protein choices on the menu to satisfy most dietrary and taste preferences. Third, service was efficient and friendly, though not what I would call attentive. However, there really isn't a wait staff in the convenional sense. Even though I was sitting at the bar, for example, no one ever asked how my meal was at any point while dining. But the restaurant is pretty much brand new and everyone has already been tipped when you've ordered at the counter. Tip: When you enter the restaurant on the left hand side is a condiment bar which contains three different creamy sauces (salsas) all labeled "hot." I sampled all three even though the tacos needed no amendments. They were really tasty, but none of them were really "hot" for my taste buds, though others might certainly find them so. I am looking forward to returning to Taco Blanco very soon with my wife to continue exploring their menu. I recommend Taco Blanco highly, notwithstanding the caveats mentioned above. read more

The food is amazing and great quality. The prices are beyond fair. The staff is A+. On a day where I have to drive from one side of the Cape to the other I can grab a single taco for $5-$6 to fill my belly. It's sooooo delicious! read more
