Overall the store is decent sized but the isles can get congested as only two carts can just squeeze thru. Forget about going after church on a Sunday or on any day before a snowstorm! Also, There are usually many folks jumping across the border to enjoy sales tax free groceries. I do not spend much time in the area now but it used to be the cheapest place to grab food. Usually plenty of parking if you are willing to walk a bit. Although this Market Basket location isn't like the newer attraction stores (dining, fresh food, lots of takeout, etc.); it offers a great selection of foods made onsite and brought it. On my last visit I noticed they have added a sandwich station onto the bakery.

I went in today to get a replacement birthday cake for my daughter (because the one I paid bank for over the weekend was beautiful on the outside but a sugary, inedible mess on the inside). On this visit we saw woodpeckers and turkeys. (Jul2026) We're fond of time on the lake. We launched from our friends' shore and just motored around. We picnicked on the boat and on our friends' shore. The only public access we know of is the $25 ramp behind the well-stocked North of the Border convenience store on US-202, on the NH/MA border at the west tip of the lake. On the lake in the summer, there's lots of pontoons and boats, jet skis, and kayaks and canoes, for boating, skiing, and fishing. As far as I know, there are no public beaches or shores. The lakefront is all private property.
